This is the first time I think I’ve ever seen sisters of battle portrayed in the power armor they supposedly have (where it isn’t a nuns costume and a corset but let’s them fight at super human strength) this is awesome.

Sisters of battle are awesome.
Although her mentality is becoming like an astartes who see human life as a numbers game that guardswoman probably represents her humanity, her emotions, her caring for the citizens and soldiers.
She's right. A planet? That's just land, sea, and air. A hive city? That's just stone and steel. The Imperium can replace all that any day of the week. But Human lives? That's *FOREVER!*

I know nothing about Warhammer but I love the universes videos like these. I want to ask if anyone can tell me what differences are between space marines and this armored woman here. What's her role and do others of her kind play a major or minor role in the universe.
Space marines are male children that have been either "recruited" or gifted to certain chapters for extreme augmentation and training where only one out of thousands of acceptable aspirants actually survive the process. The result is an effectively immortal super soldier that acts as special forces/ shock troops for the most important battles and are often considered more important that most cities.
The woman is a sorita, who are female children that are recruited by the imperial church and raised to be zealot heavy soldiers or healers depending on which order they belong to. Because of their absolute belief in their faith they are often protected from psychological/ spiritual dangers which is why they often fight the forces of chaos. They also defend shire worlds or other sites important to the church.
Soritas are well trained and well equipped but are usually pure human, space marines are basically demigods biologically speaking. When it comes to their role in the overall story it it just depends on what's the major issue at the time. If the Tau invade they don't really matter, khorne tears a new hole in reality and the normal human troops start eating each other and taking skulls, then they are the lynch pin.
Picture the Roman Catholic Church but replace all the love and forgiveness with cruelty and hate. That's the imperial church. The Adepta Sororitas are that churches version of the Waffen SS. They are the most fanatical of the God Emperors worshipers and it's not even close.
Where space marines are genetically enhanced steroid monsters who can bench press trucks and shrug off the loss of a limb, Sororitas are plain, unaugmented human women. They have two major advantages going for them. First, the church has effectively unlimited resources, so each woman is wearing power armor and wielding a bolt gun, and overall their forces are dripping with special and heavy weaponry. The second is their faith itself. Their belief is so powerful that it causes miracles to manifest around them so often that they can sometimes be planned around.

They were humans Szeras experimented on. He was probably studying and modifying their bodies to comprehend how to give Necron's flesh bodies. That turned them into zombies.
