How big is the house?
Why does a million dollar house on a corner lot have a front face garage? Who does that?
It maybe also has to do with the regulation, it is very close to the road if you want to have garage from the side. It may not be safe to backout onto the road from the side.
Toronto has very strict rules. You can't make a driveway wherever you want.
There was a article a few year ago how a builder built a home in North York with the garage on the wrong side, and they were not allowed to make a driveway for it.
The people who could buy this home are being taxed out of this country. Good luck.

Apparently it’s a 4 car garage (2 car lengths deep) even still the brief peak into the garage shows that it’s not even painted.

It is a bit tacky for some reason. Too white and too much light and gold color which is a bit out of date. Noticed a lot of Canadian houses have such issues.
