Not sure I'd put vtec engagement lower than 4000 rpm if you are running the stock k24 oil pump @@CL9k24a3 I've got 76mm intake with K&N 76mm long cone filter. I left the standard intake box, but disconnected the lower section of the stock air box that sits inside the bumper, and put a silicone 76mm pipe on there, connected with the K&N filter. There is no use having a intake sitting inside the bay pulling in warm air, which is why my K&N filter is sitting inside the bumper, to pull in cold air. These engines run quite hot. I havent gotten the chance to get mine flashed, because a common thing for them to do is to lower the temp where the fan switches on.

Why is there a dip in torque around 4000rpm, too early VTEC?
To late, it was set to 4100 and later was set to 3700rpm.

that is not the way to do it unfortunately.
what is the recommended intake if one cant get custom one?
are there variable intake length ones that will also give nice low end power?
Most of them are shit as they are to small of ID.
You have my airbox mod. It is easy to make and works quite well.
