it depends unfortunately you cant list cards under $.99 like back in the day you could list anything for .01 so back in the day you would list a card for like .10 .15 .25 and do $3 flat fee no matter if you purchased 1 or 1000 cards it was really grat back then selling cards it was really like going to a card show and searching through the .25 box but now a days its so difficult for buyers to combine there purchases (you have to have a IT degree to figure it out) that its very hard to use that method Flat fee for the first items and free each additional i mean it does work but buyers have to know they will only be charged that shipping on the first item not each additional items i do not think eBay does a good job at alerting buyers that you have that type of shipping set up (i actually have a statement in my listings that tell potential buyers how that shipping works)
2:09 100% especially if your return rate is like 1% or under that means 99% have gone through without any problems yep tell them to keep it refund and move on if you have this mindset with low end items (this works in any category) you will feel alot less stressed out especially when you see a return request come in in the end it all comes with running a business be it part time or full time or even hobby
I agree with the end listing and using the sell similar option. Use that time to review and possibly revise the title and description. I like to change it up a little to keep it fresh. Also, ill rerun the comps to see what that item is now selling for. In a lot of case, I find that Im overpriced and ill adjust the price at that time
I have doing the end & sell similar for the past 3 months. I have sold more old inventory (6 months or more) then ever before. Also, I buy my thermal labels on eBay and pay $30 dlvd for 6000 labels. 1/2 cent each.
Great video! Love the tip for end and re-list. I’m going to start that this week. I’ve been letting eBay auto relist. I’m sure I will see an uptick in sales. Keep up the great content!
I used Sell Similar rather than Relist. No particular reason. It's just what I do. How do you print your labels in bulk? I tried once and it showed as a PDF. What a PITA to deal with.
You mention in this video you get refunded for shipping when you do a PIP claim with ebay. That is interesting because every time I've needed to make a claim, they never refund me for the shipping charges. I attended ebay open this year, and this is one the questions that came up. Just curious, how are you able to get refunded your shipping charges ?
@@TheFlippingSportsGuy I offer free shipping on all my items as well, and they never refund shipping for me. Ive had multiple reps state they don't refund shipping as it only covers the cost of the item
@jasonschufletowski4591 o i get it they dont physically give the cost of shipping plus the item cost. I have shipping built into my price, so to me that was refunded.
9:00 1000% correct this is coming from someone that has done ebay full time for 25 years as an everything seller YES 1000% end and relist gives the item a new items number so the algo will look at it as a new item (contrary to what will happen with auto relist where that is still the same item and same item number) but doing both for the last month half of the month was end and relist and half was end and sell similar not sure what happens on the backend of eBay but my honest opinion the end and sell similar for whatever reason gives a bigger bump then end and relist
I sold a card to someone in North Carolina with the last name of Earnhardt. Made my day! I agree on low end cards. Just refund and move on. Luckily I have had virtually zero problems because if I have any questions about the quality of the card I either put it in a flat rate bulk lot, a team lot for a yard sale, or give to the kids at my school.
Hey i have been watching for a while now and have two questions for you.1) how do you print your sort sheet and labels all at once ? 2) being close to tax time ...at the end of the month what do you print out for your records for tax purposes.
Ever curious if you should charge shipping or not for sports cards ? check this video out - ruclips.net/video/Ao7_-kVXwEU/видео.html

I can't believe the amount of people that take stuff to the post office. It is so much cheaper through ebay.
totally agree, people are stuck in ways though.

Just checking to see if this helped for you. I'm thinking about doing this now
I just sold to Randy Johnson as well 😂 small world.
haha nice!
The return shipping on ESE orders is actually more like $4-6 because eBay gives them a Ground Advantage label.

ive gotten asked about the labels in bulk a few times the last couple days. im going to record it and show it one of the next videos.
How do you list a bulk box? Thank you
Your videos are awesome! Could you do a few different style showing listing process? I’d love to see some scans and Card Dealer Pro
