Thanks Andy for the info! If someone did really like one of these off brand strings, makes me wonder if they will even be available in a couple of years, not all of the small companies will still be in business. There sure are alot of them. 🙏🎾
There are. The tour m8 is a great playing string for me , just the comfort was an issue. I could definitely see pros or rec players using this at a lower tension or thinner gauge.
I have in fact tried t hat soft version. it is in fact not even little bit softer and the spin is terrible with that string. original razor code is great(even red code is great)@@tenniswithandy
*smh* ....but did you try it at 45? One of my friends even strings this at 33. Not sure what "shouldn't have to string that low," means. You string for the results you want, power, comfort, feel, control. The numbers are arbitrary. Clearly you had it too stiff for your racquet and preferences, so try lower and see how it feels. You won't lose control or performance if you go below 50, or even 40, but you'll certainly gain comfort.

Stringing a 1.30 poly... at 52.... in an 18 x 20 frame... and you're surprised it's causing discomfort?
That's like a tennis elbow recipe.
52 is low wtf are you talking about
I didn’t think it would come to this.
I’ll try stringing it lower. At like 45 lbs.
I wonder if you tried Tecnifibre Razor Code. Great string if you like muted and controlled reponse.
I haven’t tried that yet either. Have you used the soft version?

Have you tried Toroline Wasabi?
I tried the k prob hybrid which has toroline wasabi. I thought it was a nice comfortable and powerful hybrid with decent spin potential.
Have you tried Grapplesnake Alpha yet?
Not yet, should I try it? I have sniper and M8 at ICON.
Lynx tour is stiff side..hyperg soft 1.25mm or msv +38. Or black knight 1.19mm main with ghost wire 1.18mm cross
Solid recommendations. Thank you
