    Ros is a great trainer, I trained with him right at the beginning of the pandemic, well worth it.

    Great material! And it can be done on an indoor range, which is what many have access to.
    I like the comments about the speed coming from reset and prep rather than pulling the trigger faster.

    With this distance and target size, the goal should be a split time of .25 for the controlled pair. If you would reset your trigger during recoil, also known as in flight reset, rather than pinning the trigger to the rear and resetting after the gun has returned to target, you would be much more efficient. Also, another extremely important part of the process that wasn't mentioned is to have and keep a hard focus on where you want to hit.

      Hey there,
      Absolutely, a .25 split is achievable, but remember, the drill we've showcased is designed for any standard duty gun and not exclusively for competitive shooters. While hitting those marks is an ambitious goal, it's also about consistency across various skill levels.
      We'd love to see you give this drill a try and share your results with us! It's always interesting to see how different shooters tackle the challenge and what kind of consistency they can achieve.
      Regarding the target focus concept, you're right - it can be effective even with iron sights. However, it does demand a considerable level of shooting experience and highly refined proprioceptive skills, especially when engaging a target of this size, even at 4 yards. Soft focus shooting isn't for everyone; it really takes time and experience to master.
      Looking forward to hearing about your experience with the drill. Keep shooting and keep sharing!

    I need to try this. Sadly I can't use such a short range often.
    I print it for the next chance I get to have it ready.

      The TPC Challenges are designed to require a very simple setup, regardless of the range facility, outdoor or indoor. We are not familiar with the unique policies of the specific facilities. We do not see an issue with the close distance if the trainee is aware of the cone of fire and a safe and reliable backstop. We know that some facilities have policies that don't make sense and are too restrictive without actual logical correlation with safety. Safety is our number one priority always!

    Is it humanly possible to draw and shoot 1" Circle at 10 meters consistently ?

    • @onpsxmember
      @onpsxmember 10 месяцев назад +1

      With less of a time constraint and consistent training that's doable at 25m. At a shorter range it leaves more room for error.
      The regular bullseye target center is about 5cm and several top shots can stack almost 30 shots in there. The question is if it is needed but it can be a cool goal to increase the distance over time. Careful with the holster.

      Everything is possible, depending on devotion and regular focused training. That gives us an idea for a future video. 👍🏻☝🏻
