Control the trigger, control the fight! You can’t win if you can’t hit!
Trigger control is composed of two parts-mental control and physical manipulation. On the mental side, control of emotions and arousal comes into play. On the physical side, learning how to manipulate the trigger correctly keeps us in control at higher rates of shooting speed.
    Trigger Manipulation Concepts
No matter how you choose to manipulate the trigger, the number one thing you must learn to do is to isolate the action of the trigger finger. This is part mental control and part physical manipulation. In this video, we reveal the different trigger manipulation techniques that will help you to improve your trigger control significantly!
Check the TPC Challenge drill that will put on a test how well you can apply those trigger manipulations in live fire: tacticalperformancecenter.com...

I was utterly floored by speed where you knock down the five “popper” targets in opening sequence.
Then I realized I’m watching at double speed - so extremely fast but believable from shooter far more skilled than I.

se le quita carrera al disparador y la resistencia del 20 es lo ultimo para el disparo: es colocación y acción del dedo en el disparador o gatillo, muy buena información, gracias por tan valiosa información en verdad muy buena

Cocking the hammer on a DA/SA prior to firing is not realistic. Hammer down firing in DA mode shows skill. That’s what I want to see.

You are missing the point! The first shot from the draw is a different micro skill. We are focusing on specific trigger manipulations for multiple shots here. How many times are you pulling the trigger on double action? How many times do you need to manipulate the single action after that in a real situation? Keeping a narrow focus on a specific skill will help you to integrate it faster in your subconscious. Ones you know how to manipulate the trigger on a SA, then master the DA, then learn the combination of DA first shot and SA every next shot. That's the layers of progressive training, scientifically proven to be very effective. A conscious mind can focus on one thing at a time! We are learning through the conscious mind but our final goal is to ingrain the skill in the subconscious. We hope that makes it more clear.
