  • There is a common misunderstanding among many shooters that the shooting platform is the same as the shooting stance. But what about shooting while moving? The shooting platform is actually the biomechanical base that forms part of the shooting stance, but it is not the entire stance. It serves as the foundation upon which the natural point of aim is created. This structural framework, comprising the grip, arms, torso, and pelvis, is connected in consistent geometrical configurations (with a few exceptions in specific combat and tactical situations). This ensures the consistent application of forces acting on the gun, resulting in reliable, precise, and repeatable recoil control management.

The pulling of the rope visualisation helped me. Just back from the range. Sights came back quickly and moved straight up.

Its a goofy buzz word marketing phrase... the ground you walk is not guaranteed, so foot placement should not be part of the fundamental equation.

They don't say that is the case all the time. They got lots of movement videos. That doesn't mean there is never a static position. If you watch the hole video you see it goes just down to the hips, the legs move freely.

Interestingly, you mention feet placement, we never claimed in the video that feet placement is part of the shooting platform. On the opposite, we actually emphasized that the shooting stance and the shooting platform are not the same thing, a common misunderstanding among many shooters. The shooting platform is the biomechanical base that forms part of the shooting stance, but it is not the entire stance. It serves as the foundation upon which the natural point of aim is created. This structural framework, including the grip, arms, torso, and pelvis, is connected in consistent geometrical configurations (with a few exceptions in specific combat and tactical situations). This ensures the consistent application of forces acting on the gun, resulting in reliable, precise, and repeatable recoil control management. The legs and feet act as the suspension that supports the shooting platform. We hope this clarifies our theory and encourages a deeper understanding before critiquing. Nevertheless, we hope you find the video helpful. 👍🏻
