While i can use it and follow along i don't understand what any does so there's been little room for experimentation. This video is incredibly useful so that I can at least start to grasp it. I, for one, especially like the way you organized the overall content of the video and the layout of each session before showing the actual usage/implementation for each operation of the Vector Math node, extremely well done!

The trig functions are far, *far* from useless. You can use them to rotate the texture for one. Another nice usecase is to make procedural noise perfectly tilable by basically sampling 3D noise on the surface of a torus. Need a bunch of trig for that (although the setup isn't that hard)
And if you want tilings more complicated than regular square/rectangular tiling, you'll almost definitely need them as well.
View dependent stuff involving the incoming and normal vectors can also make good use of them.

I'm been using Blender for well over a year now, and I wish I had found this video must sooner; this is a great explanation of vectors. There's even some things I haven't learned from trial and error, like the fact that Blender uses a weighted algorithm to convert RGB color data to a scalar representing luminance. (That could throw off results in some cases, so I'll have to be careful to handle color data with this knowledge.)
I'm still looking for a way to convert 2D (and in the future; 3D) vector data to angle data, maybe I'll find something to help in your next video. Even if I don't, I'm sure I'll learn something useful anyway!
