one thing you didnt mention is respone curve slope its realy nice for people that like dynamic but its a little to fast for them at the start. i changed from dynamic to linear but it just fealt weird for me but after adjusting the response curve slope to 0.40 with dynamic i think that it feels the best and i recommend everyone to try adjusting their response curve slope because it can help a lot
If you are a player that leans heavier on a faster play style (not super aggressive) rather than slow play style you might like these settings. 6/6 sensitivity or 7/7 if you can manage .75 or.80 ADS sensitivity Linear Deafault aim assist This givesthe ability to flick to targets comfortably in most of the realistic gun fights you'll get in And the slower ADS sensitivity on linear helps you track targets bvery smoothly. And I'll add that you will find yourself winning more gun fights if you try and get rid of tac sprint from your playstyle. Don't auto tac sprint and don't tac sprint in general unless your just trying to cover ground quickly. Your aiming will be a lot better
I have the exact same setup that you describe, and for me, it makes a huge difference. I think the best way to describe the advantage of linear is "consistency". I feel much more connected and in tune with my aim point. Also, like you say, turn off auto tac sprint, and try to avoid tac sprinting altogether. Many gunbattles are lost because of the time penalty to transition from tac sprinting to able to fire your weapon. Thanks!
I think linear is a straight like from your barrel to your dot. While dynamic there a straight like from your barrel but when you move the sticks theres an invisible curve which makes it feels like its faster. But when you stop they the S will turn straight
The other factor is aim assist. Dynamic feels easier to hit long range with aa while exploiting the left stuck. Linear is more accurate raw input but dynamic actually is better for aa long range.
What's crazy is how much better at the game you are because of good awareness and positioning when your actual shooting is so much worse than mine lol.
Bro this is actually sooo valid I’ve noticed gun skill nowadays is only 30% of the battle and the other 70% is positioning/rotation ETC..gun skill has barely any skill gap because of desync and aim assist is basically broken to the point that burgers can cross map u 🤷♂️🤷♂️

Dynamic 6-6 has been so-so for me lately. Recoil is horrid and I’m losing a lot of gunfights that I don’t normally lose. Had to switch to back linear 4-4.
change 6-6 to custom just go up above 1 theres custom for both then set the advance thats locked to 1.00 for both or whatever your prefer it lowkey a big ass difference bro im hitting more shots again aim feels way better sticking to enemies much better if you also use response curve scale you can change it and will use linear and dynamic at the same time around 0.20-0.35

It's just a "Quadratic" curve, but it's closest to a linear curve.* There's a guy who mapped these out for one of those controller emulating devices, so he could make "true linear". I switched from dynamic to linear on mw3 because theres a lot of times where you lose aim assist and gain AA and it makes you lose gun fights you should won. Once i switched to linear i stopped having that problem and can trust my own aim more(iridescent player) mw2 and mw3
I some times wonder if streamers actually try to play the game with these settings in game with out any cheats running at the same time it makes me wonder like as then they would see it just don't work the same

I am not the best player but I grew up playing fps games on mnk when I was a kid. I was never a big fan of fps, but I got hooked on cod mw2 season 6. So after a lot of years I started playing fps again on mnk ofc. I realized mnk doesn’t cut it, so the last 2 weeks I have been playing only on controller and I feel much more confident than before. Still learning but I feel I am getting better and better by day.

The problem with cod linear curve is its not a true straight curve, which means its not true linear. I believe cod need too add a true advanced sensativity settings like Aoex legends does, would add more options AND the possibility for a true linear aim 😊 good video still dude, love your content because its so different

The title of the video annoys me, it does not change the pattern of recoil it changes the way you are able to adapt to it, it may sound like a silly gripe but it is misleading which is very annoying to me, I switched to linear after watching your videos but I almost clicked off this video 30 seconds in because I knew the title wasn’t accurate-I was curious to see if it actually changed the way the gun shoots turns out it doesn’t

Its also that the slowing down and speeding up is depending on the stick position. when you shooting at someone far the stick is moved just a little bit so the aim rate is low , when you have to turn with a 180 degree the stick position is pushed all the way to the end so your aim rate goes up
Linear is good for aiming but bad for people who like to have fast movement and play up close and personal cuz it is so sensitive to ur movement that if u make one bad movement mistake in a gunfight it will mess u up so bad and ur aim ...unlike dynamic is keeps your movement consistent and doesn't register small movement mistakes and kinda keeps your camera abit more steady if that makes sense ....I have a 3.9 KD on PS5 but started at .80 when I started
It’s individual preference. Go in private Match ffa With 9 recruit Bots and Test it by yourself and u will feel what fits better to you. Just copy any settings isn‘t the way.
