ive been playing on keyboard and mouse since warzone 1 dropped, I have recently been trying to use a ps5 controller but its way harder 😂. I do love the aim assist thou, its so satisfying when you lock onto someone
GUYS do you want AIMTBOT type of AIM ASSIST? Before you read all of this just know that the secret is to ALWAYS strafe when you shoot. Just go watch the pro "Scrap" play and pay close attention to when he shoots. He is literally strafing an inch to the left and then an inch to the right. He makes small movements with the left stick so that aim assist is strong. The right stick is not as important as you think. Try strafing on a Target Dummy if you want to test it now. --- SETTINGS 1-- -5/5 sensitivity -Linear -Black ops Aim assist -1.00 ADS multiplier -Left stick minimum deadzone 1 -Left stick maximum deadzone 60 to 99 is just fine. Try to stick to 60 only. Your dead slides are caused because of muscle memory -Right stick minimum deadzone 1 -Right stick maximum deadzone 99 -105 FOV graphics settings or 110. --- SETTINGS 2-- -6/6 or 7/7 sensitivity. 7/7 is better for Ranked. Anything lower and you won't be able to aim and turn fast in these ranked lobbies. -Dynamic --Black ops Aim assist -0.95 ADS multiplier -Left stick minimum deadzone 1 -Left stick maximum deadzone 60 to 99 is just fine. As i said this depends on your muscle memory. But try to switch to 60 forever. -Right stick minimum deadzone 1 -Right stick maximum deadzone 99 -105 FOV graphics settings or 110. Your right-stick minimum deadzone can be 3 or 4 or even 5 (BUT only if you are playing higher sensitivity like 8/8 or 9/9 or 10/10). Otherwise keep the deadzone on 1 or 2 if you can!!! And also you need to learn to center on the enemys chest and then aim in, read below to see some practise drills for centering. Centering and strafing is so important. You need to get used to strafing in any direction whilst shooting... because without strafing you wont activate that rotational aim assist. Rotational aim assist is still active even with aim assist turned off. Practise shooting in the Firing range with aim assist turned off. Use your right stick to a bare minimum when you shoot! Use your left stick to "swipe" over the enemy. Just see for yourself how easy it is to beam the 30meter Target Dummy with a Static SMG by strafing left and right a tiny bit or strafing backwards for 0.5 second and then sideways! (TRY IT with an AR. This post was when BO6 wasn't out yet) And some people also move their aim-stick too much when they shoot! They move the right stick so drastically, after they had already centered near the target? Especially after slide cancelling?... Instead try to let your thumb "loose" on your right stick after you start shooting. All mechanics that you can use in the game are in the comment section below! I'm sure someone who played for years doesn't need these tips but whatever. Go to ingame settings -> Controller -> Aiming -> Motion Sensor Aiming -> Turn it off! At the very bottom open the advanced settings and turn that FOV scaling off too if you are not playing on 120 FOV. Dont waste time practising the wrong way too. Do it slower to get better results. Go to the firing range, keep aim assist off, stand on the left side of the firing range so that all 3 dummies are visible. Do not strafe at all during this -> start to center on each traget dummy's chest with your center-dot AND then aim into the dummy's chest. Make sure to start aiming only when your centering is exactly on the dummy's chest. Repeat this on all 3 dummies for 2minutes. Do not strafe at all, only focus on centering exactly on the target dummy and then aiming into it for 1 second. If you are a little off target dont worry about it, just correct your centering a bit slower and continue. Soon you can start shooting a few bullets into each dummy whilst aiming in and out of them.(but all of this still without strafing. Now in the end you will get faster and faster and you can add as much strafing and jumping as you want! Repeat this with strafing and without strafing, every day you gotta do this until you feel good. Another thing that I do for a quick warm up (aim assist is on) is to face away from the target dummy, spin around 180° and then immediately start to Strafe + Shoot or whatever I want.
Here I can show you a guy who demonstrates all mechanics/ skills with 7 deadzone. ruclips.net/video/XgRE3BLsKJs/видео.htmlsi=gpJwvh8UDvMT4tWj And I watched many other guys play 5 or 8 deadzone and they get many kills. However it's always bot lobbies that they play in 😅

Slope scale is important and linear allows you to get sticky aim bc of lower sensitivity and rotational aim assist. Adjust slope scale to around 50 and go down in small increments when using linear. It works.
dynamic allows the player to have a higher sensitivity and trun quicker when turning at 100%, whilst maintaining the same accuracy at slower sensitivities around the cente of the stick which is used for aming. It achives this by adjusting the level of input being applied by the user to the stick in a exponential curve inceassing speed more as the stick nears 100% in any direction. And it does the opposite in the middle, and reduces speed again curving down. This lookes like a slanted s on a graph. AKA. (Slow in middle, fast at sides, with slighly higher sensitivity capability) Liniar will be more consistent throughout but in comparison will either need to sacrifice turning speed or accuracy to achive the same capability as dynamic... if you want to achive the same accuracy as dynamic for example, youd have to slow your sensitivity down slighlty.

Once you snap on with dynamic it gradually slows down until it meets your actual sensitivity. This may make it seem like you have more aim assist but that’s not necessarily the case.

You're probably not into Apex but that's all I've played since S1 of Apex after Warzone. Linear is king in that game. TSM/Falcons Pro (Imperial Hal) used to play KB&M and since switched to controller plays linear. GenBurten (also a pro player) nasty on KB&M says linear is closest you'll get to KB&M while being on controller with aim assist.
Do some more testing. I tried switching to controller to get out of diamond and really gave it a fair shot for a whole week. But, I swear, linear is not 1:1. Im not crazy, there is still an acceleration and it drove me crazy because It made me want a true 1:1 even more thinking that the game was designed to not allow it. Promptly switched back to kbm. I can get used to everything else being sluggish on controller but I could not be ok with not being able to turn off acceleration.

Nice vid bro whats your full controller settings u got good aim
Also can you do a settings video with your exact settings on what you used for your 40 bomb please sammy
Which controller are you using? An if it’s scuf how long do the controllers last before they get stick drift
had mine (scuf envision) for around 6 months and have had 0 issues
i got an xbox series s controller with my xbox a year ago and it still feels pretty new, the key is to not rage and throw your controller 🤣
@@LGN.420 we talking about warzone here mannnn goood luck 🥲
@@racks-mobilegamer get the Vader 3 pro you will get a better controller for cheaper
I have a scuf envision PC ver. This is my 2nd in 5 months because stick drift was so bad. I play everyday minimum of 1.5 hours. Someone said i have to clean my sticks and recalibrate, but I dont know where and how to do that.
I don't know linear felt almost too sticky for me
I have been using Lin for 8 months and never looked back..
LOVE that Skull Camo on that DTIR. How can I unlock it? Help!
It’s in the current battlepass. Cell 20 if am not wrong.
I’ve been using linear since 2019 been tryna tell people
Okay so when i started warezone i played mnk up to about lvl 750ish then switched to controller i dtarted playing on linear because its what i was familiar with but ive also relised that i feel like dynamic does more of the tracking for me then linear does which in turn helps me beam alot more with higher recoil builds so for me i prefer dynamic at the se time tho you can reall get good on anything(sorry edit dynamic has more rotational aim assist then linear in game ive tested and proved this you can test it at training dummies or on any player but the one thing i would say to do is if you can map your own input curve on your controller software map it to linear then in game run dynamic you get the dynamic aim assist with the linear curve pretty fun very broken)
Hey Sammy, can you do a full controller settings video?
i think i’ll throw that on the second channel soon
@@SammyMedows really appreciate it!!
How to jump obstacles and plate at the same time? What should I change on my settings?
jump over them instead of mantling
Congrats for the wedding
no way we got Tom holland playing warzone
Naw 16 16 dynamic is what works for me
Linear has been my go to for months I play on really low sens lol
Whats your slope setting , its the tab just below the dynamic, linear setting
i use 1
Using linear is like using a car that’s manual u have full control of your speed 🫡💯💯
It’s Om-Knee-movement not Om-A-movement
I been running on linear bruh and i dont really miss shots like that
I don't think it matters with auto aim like that haha (1:28)
Dynamic gets better😊
the best hack ever made was old cod when 1 person hosted and you could turn aim assist off for the whole lobby . also set dynamic to 0 and it's better than linear
What's your new settings ??
I now play linear with 20 sense
that sounds wild lol
There is still aim acceleration with linear on call of duty. Please blow that up..
what camo are you using?
I run linear because i run the dual sense edge controller and did it my presets there vs in game!
lennybarns is that you
ETC "gas pedals" are far from linear. 😂
Damn can i get that dtir build tho?
The ones who understand Spanish, understood everything that was said 😂
I run linear and dynamic....watch the 5th seal for settings
12:49 how did you know those guys were there
my ears
@@SammyMedowsriiight. Cheating. Flying directly at these guys with so many buildings and levels.
@@bankruptsee Riiiight.... cope harder 😂
Your Cod iQ is extremely low, if your first reaction is "Cheater" lmao
Does linear reduce aim assist ? Because mine doesn't seem to work
What are your keyboard settings?
Sammy I've had my response curve slope on 0.00 not to sure if that is better than what you use? What do you use
i think i have the default setting just set to linear
I use slope at zero also. I believe it's actual 1:1
I got 120 kills once on shipment in nw2
@SammyMedows can you share with us your Controller settings please? Im M&K and trying to learn playing with controller
Check out my comment from today
Do some more testing. I tried switching to controller to get out of diamond and really gave it a fair shot for a whole week. But, I swear, linear is not 1:1. Im not crazy, there is still an acceleration and it drove me crazy because It made me want a true 1:1 even more thinking that the game was designed to not allow it. Promptly switched back to kbm.
I can get used to everything else being sluggish on controller but I could not be ok with not being able to turn off acceleration.
I believe you need to set your slope setting to 0 for it to actually be 1:1. Try that out. I play 20 20, linear, 0 slope and 0 dead zone.
What’s was ur sens on linear?
Ive been using linear since start just makes since coming from kbm
facts
you mean a game built with movement meant more to the modern audincence sure why not help them makign fps more and more likely to be fun and games and more esports type of fps than anything else
😂 You don't know what dynamic mode is. It responds to your finger's aggression a bit like a throttle on a car, yes. The more aggressive your movements on the stick are, the more it will accelerate your screen. That's dynamic.
What’s the loadout?
bro said he is lagging when he had 170fps, 18ms and 0% packet loss bro if YOU are lagging then what am i doing with 30fps, 60ms or even 200 and 4%packet loss?
Whats this loadout?
Feedback? Voice over gameplay, super frustrating that I'm trying to listen to you explain something while you're getting interrupted by enemies
hmm good point. it does get pretty overwhelming for me as well lol
what game mode did you play to get better on controller?
You'll get good by pouring hours learning to aim, move effectively, and hold strong positions.
