    090423 I Fished Jordan Lake NC for catfish using my homemade jugs and bottles. I started at daylight and fished only a couple hours due to the heat. The Radinsson canoe performed great today.
    Still a great morning on the water with some nice Channel cats brought on board.

    Good to see Jordan at first light, Mack. Seen a few jugs chugging past me at daylight when set up for carp on NC lakes😊

    Mack. As you said, I always believed that catfish bite best at night and in the early morning hours. For the last two summers I have been fishing pool noodles like yours on Jordan Lake. While I have done well soon after daylight, I have been totally surprised how many I catch between 9:00 and noon. Guess the Jordan cats are just hungry. Enjoy your Radisson. I used a friend's Sportspal for many years in Michigan. Thanks for your videos.

      what are you using for bait?

      Like you, cut up bluegill. I have 8 pool noodles, three set to use in 8' or less water, four to use in 8-14' of water and two to use in 20-25' of water. @@MackinNC1

    That brings back some memories. Old School Clorox jugs. My gopro shuts down too. Take the battery out, & put it back in.

      That's what I did ...battery out. My go pro 5's don't do that.

      @@MackinNC1 My GP-7 Has never shut down, but that auto-level horizon is Awesome feature. There are Monster Cats in front of the RR Dam. Old river bed, like 80ft deep. Thanks✌

    Hey Mack, I saw your signs up at the Bynum beach access on the haw! Loving the channel so far. I just started fishing a couple months ago and mostly been out at chicken bridge. You got any other good spots for some bank fishing along the haw close to chapel hill? Thanks!

    • @MackinNC1
      @MackinNC1  Год назад

      not a lot of bank spots. you could go up to the island at Saxapahaw. you really need a cnoe on the Haw.

      @@MackinNC1 Yeeeahhh I figured. Don't got the space for a canoe, if you ever see a silver miata at the trail head that's me xD If you do know of any bank spots close to chapel hill and feel like sharing let me know! Loving the channel.
