    This is great. I
I work mostly in the ayout manager producing site plans for clients.
The Atlas feature is a real-time saver.
I am looking at how to add to this automation, the coordinates of the selected polygons/parcels in a table format with the following headers:
    LEG | Distance(m) | POINT | EASTING | NORTHING
where LEG is the polygon edge between two vertices e.g. AB, BC, CD etc,
    - distance is the distance from one vertex to the next, e.g. 15; 25; 45 as the case may be,
    - Point is the name of the vertex, e.g. A; B; C etc,
-Easting/Northing are the coordinates of the vertex.
My work involves copying themdata above into excel and running a macro to sort them in the order given.
This happens to be time consuming when dealing with large data sets where I need to produce several site plan.
    Any guidance will be appreciated.

Is there any possibility to generate those maps with zooming to each specific parcels?

Sure there is a possibility, please go to Item properties and scroll down to Controlled by Atlas and check on and try to configure according to your desired scale.

Hi, and thanks for this video. I am curious to know if it is possible to produce an "atlas-like" approach to automate a set of different maps (using different sets of spatial data which are consistent for each iteration of generating maps per point). In short, I want to generate a set of different maps which always reflect the same sets of spatial data per data point/cadastre, but creating a set of layouts and updating the map point is the easiest way so far although it is clumsy and slow. Any insights would be gratefully accepted as I am out of hair to pull out now 😄

Yes, you can automate the creation of a set of maps with consistent spatial data for each iteration using the Atlas feature in QGIS's Print Layout. This tool allows you to generate multiple map outputs (pages) from a single layout, where each page focuses on a different feature or area from your dataset, automatically adjusting the map view.

@@gisworld-tech Perhaps I need to dig into the Atlas feature some more, because what I was needing was a single point/feature but with maps showing different information for that single point/location. So far the Atlas feature shows the same information for different locations, rather than one location and different information. Ie I want a map of all the geology based information and then a separate map of the same site for all the hydrological information, and then one for all the biodiversity related information.

Is it different from a layout template?

You can use the Layout Template for easing the template Generation and using later on in atlas function.
