Leaking Air Compressor Tank (Repaired?)

My attempt at repairing a tank failure due to corrosion using epoxy and a machine screw. It seems to have worked... but for how long? The condition inside the tank is unknown, but today I do not have to buy a new compressor. This compressor worked well for many years but had one flaw, which was the inaccessible drain valve. I seldom drained it because of the difficulty so this resulted in excessive corrosion inside the tank.

It'll work..until the epoxy cracks. Which it will. RTV rubber or silicone would have been a better choice. It remains flexible after curing.
