Fact checking is (should be) almost completely equatable with the journalistic profession
I beg to differ. Fact-checking is an integral part of journalism, but a good journalist has to do much more. For example, he/she has to be able to find facts, connect them, explain them, formulate an opinion about them, separate important from unimportant facts, and finally present them in a way that is nuanced, understandable and interesting.
Actually, fact-checking even comes before connecting anything. It is the foundation. Without it, tv journalists are about as reliable as some random youtube video or blog without sources. They make themselfs redundant.
I studied journalism in a famous french school a few years ago (precision : it was a science journalism cursus for people with science background in college), and we had a teacher/active journalist who said one day in class : "have you ever heard of fact-checking ?" and started to explain this new "trend" in media. I was baffled. My first reaction was "Isn't it our VERY JOB to check the facts, before or after ?! Especially for us who studied science before journalism ?!!!". The journalist/teacher said "you know, in the press, with the speed of information and news, you don't always have the time or the ressources to really investigate on a subject. So yeah fact-checking is rarely done."
Side note : I'm not working in the press as of right now. In fact I got my diploma and moved on to another field.
I was a communications major for a while as well. Whoever bought my old textbook got a schooling from my margin notes; The entire textbook read like propaganda for the entertainment and publishing industry.
Ha! I was a journalism major for a bit, too. That is, until my textbook and professors related that everything is geared toward oversimplification and sensationalism.
The debate should have a small army of real-time fact checkers, and should be calling out on-screen every truthful or false comment they make. I'm tired of the media giving Trump a pass when he lies.
Buddy if you want honestly in politics Trump isn't the one you want to be worried about
ummm I believe they are referring to the many lies that Trump says in the video above and how the reporters just go along with it without questioning further. Even when they know what he is saying i s wrong. Did you watch the video?
"Media giving Trump a pass" PFFFFFFFFFFFT
Zach Munro It's not even just that. Trump has made some statements that should absolutely disqualify someone from running... and the media never covers them. I'm talking about his multiple suggestions that he'd commit war crimes and stuff like that. When was the last time there was any mention of that on the news? They should be talking about it non-stop. Same with his asking that Russia spy on his opponent in order to help him win the election. I mean this guy is a Republican, the party of Reagan who called the Soviets the "Evil Empire", but Trump casually suggests that they should be spying on Americans to influence our elections and help him win... and crickets from the media.
DeusExAstra Since when did he ask Russia to spy on the USA, get your facts straight
"Are you for war in Iraq"
"Yeah. I guess... so..."
lol
Paul Staker, that seems like a stern approval to me!!!!
It just seems like he doesn’t know what he’s talking about
He probably doesn't really care
Hes like his zionist owners
Sounds like a child
as shameless as Trump and as Calculated as Clinton....
that's the best descriptions of this US election....
The sarcasm is strong
not biased (he is)
Shameless over calculated everyday
Shaun Riley so you rather have the Marquise de Sade than Niccolo Machiavelli?
+Ricardo Guanipa nice one. but lets be honest, this guy wont understand the reference you just made. never in a hundred years
Spot on. Too bad that most people don't seem to give a toss about "facts" and are more concerned about "feels" these days.
To be fair... Neither candidate offers the facts. Trump runs on a platform of "Vote for me because I win". Clinton runs on a platform of "Vote for me because I'm not Trump." The RNC would have you vote on a platform of "Vote for Trump because he isn't Clinton." No one is offering any ideas or facts or even trying to make a coherent message to the American people other than to fear the other side.
as Ben Shapiro said "facts don't care about your feelings"
Whenever the word 'fact' is mentioned, I'm reminded of Bernie.. What a loss for you Americans
Akmal Ibrahim Sanders's platform wasn't based on facts either. When you actually peeled back all the positive feelings, there wasn't much substance behind his campaign.
Feels > reals
I love how you call it "invasion of Iraq" instead of "war in Iraq", because that is what it really was, an invasion.
@@vikramdungarwal7110 Not the same.

A couple of weeks ago you were at 400K. Now you got 700K! Seems that people are finally acknowledging the quality in your videos!
I just found him through the recommended feed so I'd say it is working.
RUclips is helping him. They do it with higher quality creators with the algorithm.
Someone mentioned his channel on Reddit a while ago, that's how I found him. Since then I've also been trying to share his stuff with others because this is absolutely my favorite RUclips channel now.
A couple of bigger youtuber shouted him out. Well deserved.
Yeah, I found him through Philip DeFranco and have been hooked ever since
this "Yeah.. I guess so" answer cracked me the fuck up
Oh no we definitely should be hard on Matt Lauer
I see what you did there with those 2 words
Make one about how to spot Hillary's health issues in real time
id rather have her dying 3 months in, than this lunatic doing anything
I have access to the microchip in her spine.
And how would this help?
I don't know why people care so much about her health, if she died we would get Kaine who nobody hates nearly as much as Clinton or Trump.
+ThirdWiggin or Squirming Pence
But she's right - she's the only one who wouldn't hike taxes on JUST the middle class.
Hillary Clinton, master of semantics.
"I'm the only one who has said I won't raise taxes on the middle class." If you pledge not to raise taxes you are automatically making that same pledge, along with the additional pledges of not raising it on the upper and lower classes. It's deceitful at best.
Exactly. She tries to tell the truth you know...
wilkinru Which is what makes me skeptical. I legitimately am not sure about incompetence being worse than outright calculating deception.
Not even that. The statements straight up mean different things, but omitting the word "just" was so much more appealing to prospective voters.
Usually your videos are a bit over my head simply because I don't think at a sophisticated enough level to understand what you're saying but I am working on it!! And I completely understood this whole video which makes me so happy. You are such an insightful human being. I loved this.
I can tell you, that by your homesty and willingness, you are more sophisticated than you may think!
@@saroth1978 No. That's a lie we always sedate ourselves to.
People fighting for what candidate is worse, the US political climate is really fucked up right now.
Trump isn't bad at all though, he just says things that are on his mind. His policies are good and his no BS attitude is good. Trump speaks in hyperbole and the media elites and political elites hate that. He isn't a politician like everyone else, he is the only genuine candidate running. He is also under constant bullshit and made-up stories that he is somehow literally Hitler. If you actually watch everything Trump says instead of the headlines or short 20 minute videos about how evil he is you would realize he is easily the best option. This is from someone who voted for Obama, so i'm not some right wing nut job like Alex Jones.
***** Hillary has already cost people their lives. Meanwhile, Trump said offensive things. I guess it's a toss-up.
+Your God Wilfred The "worse and worser" characterization is a media gloss over of the real situation. Trump has a very stable support base that consider him the right man for the job, period. Anyone who feels they are choosing between the lesser of two evils has just been lazy and is finally waking up to the fact that their party has led them astray. They need to take ownership of their own voting power. They need to stop relying on MSM sound bites and pay closer attention to what is going on in the world around them.
***** Never trust a ______ (fill in the blank). There are so many things that people like to put in that position (cop, lawyer, reporter, (race), (gender), etc.) I could also add "anonymous RUclips poster" (your mother didn't name you "Tesla").
I'll listen to what you have to say and then decide for myself. I trust myself first. Then I look for individual PEOPLE to place more of my trust. I tend to trust the man who calls himself Donald Trump. I trust him enough to hire him to be my president.
Your little tidbit of advice is useless to me until you give me good reason to trust you and to believe that you are speaking in my best interest. Do you think that you are?
Kevin Knorr He has zero political experience though. We already had a business man as a president here in Chile and it was fucking awful, even part of his political party was against him when he was president.

I wish there was a say to get everyone to watch this vid. A very concise and informative vid. Live fact checking of tv with pop ups is a great idea.
Thing is Trump is still the best candidate out there.
"Stop being biased, treat both candidates equally!!"
Have you ever considered that your candidate is shit??
and Hillary isn't?
+IntrodouchingMe Both are shit. Get Stein and Johnson into the debates.
+kleinaca1 Yes let's have the libertarian who has more liberal views than clinton and the green party candidate who said an anti-vaccine comment and has now for weeks upon weeks tried to retract that statement.
As a Johnson supporter I'm glad you mentioned Stein, practically no one knows about her and she deserves a chance to be heard.
***** Why doe
Is the best you could come up with Trump on Iraq a "Yeaaah, I guess soo..." sheepishly agreeing? He didn't even vote on that while Clinton did, but then acts like she didn't. Pretty faulty on both sides, tbh.
True
Pointing out that he didn't vote for the war is more a point about his lack of government experience since he's never been elected to an actual office than it is a valid point in his favor over Hillary Clinton. He could not have voted for or against the war, so, using that as a point for him is an argument you can't truly make. What is important here is that he did, in fact, say that he was for it even though he recently said he was always against it.
She never claimed she was against it. He did. Try to operate in reality.
She lied and said that her vote was for more inspections; not war. Now she backtracks and claims that her vote for war was a mistake based on false intelligence, so she obviously knew what she was voting for.
He never claimed Hillary didn't lie. He's not comparing the two on their positions about the war. The point is that they tell lies and aren't corrected (the war example with Trump being his claim that he opposed the war from the beginning, when that's clearly not the case. He may have opposed the war eventually, but not from the beginning. It's totally possible that he could make a compromise position that by "from the beginning" he just meant from early on, and define that however he wanted, but he's not even being challenged to assert that level of honesty. They're just being allowed to say whatever they want and not get challenged). The actual stances in question are not relevant to Nerdwriter's point, it's the fact that they're lying without anyone calling them out on it.
I felt that in Britain we had the exact same problems with the EU referendum, pure lies could be trotted out on national television and no one would question them until it was too late.
I really feel sad for the American people that these are their only two choices now.. Hope it all goes well in the end.
Eh don't believe the main stream media trump is going to be great as president
There are 5.
ok bye
Why though? You didn't explain why. Now someone (Like me) will think you are ignorant and further my dislike for trump and his followers. If you give a nice, neat, short and FACT CHECKED list of reasons he would be good then I could the idea some merit.
What about the campaign budgets, look at the amount of money Hillary has spent compared to the Donald. Does that say something about their fiscal habits?
Wow, has Nerdwriter ever swore before?

I never comment on a RUclips video or any type of website. Yet I have to say I am always blown away by your videos. The writing and editing packages amazing content that is so educated. Absolutely amazing work. We need more educated content like what you produce.
Keep it up!
trump kinda looks like a superhero, how pale his eyes/eye bags are to the rest of his face kinda makes it look as if he's wearing a mask.
lol
not a hero ever EVER asked for, but probably the one we deserve at this point :/ smh

"Correct trump? you can't correct what's never wrong"
The mindset of most trump supporters I've seen.
So that's a lie. Just like trump lied.
Anderson Cooper will probably be suuuuuper tough on Trump. I'm excited for it.
He's had an interview with Trump before and failed at getting Trump to say anything "bad". Cooper won't be tough at all, at least not Trumps level of tough.
Every time he opens his mouth he says something ignorant. He isn't tough... not at all. Big mouth does not make a person tough.
He will, because CNN(Clinton news network) is biased af mate
Very entertaining video, but it isn't really eye opening. Lying and politics is like butter on bread.
The point of the video isn't to show that these two candidates just straight-up lied
What is it then? Is it to encourage wasting a vote on a 3rd party?
The point of the video is commentary on the use, or lack thereof, of fact checking in today's media
Oh okay, I could have swore the title was "How To Correct Donald Trump In Real Time"
It's a good thing this video changed the fact it's either gonna be Clinton or Trump eh? It wasn't just pissing and moaning about things that happened over a decade ago for the first half.
X7Maverick Hey kid, he's not encouraging you to vote for anybody. He's basically encouraging us as audience members to ask questions, be well-informed and fact-check things that are said because the news doesn't always do it. If all you got from the video was a pissing and moaning brigade about lying politicians maybe you should pay the fuck attention
Glad you called out both sides for lying. Shameful on either side.
Hey Nerdwriter, great ideas and video! Getting news stations to fact check what politicians say could be a really effective method of creating an increased transparency within the realm of politicians, and what they say. However, news companies are often a part of a huge conglomerate that have political bias and creates the illusion of different opinions when in reality, they are all owned by the same entity that is conveying the same biased messages. I mention this issue because facts and fact checks can be manipulated to support the agenda of the politician or news station.
Worth noting (and it wasn't noted in the video, indeed it was almost implied otherwise) that according to PolitiFact Hillary Clinton is one of the most honest politicians on the national stage, scoring their top three ratings on 72% of her contested statements, making her the most honest candidate from either party in the 2016 election.
+Bricky Proof of that? It's generally regarded as the best source for fact checking.
you always see one side don't you ? maybe the republicans lie more than the democrats ? never thaught about that ? maybe it's not the website's fault but rather the politician's fault ?
up voting your own comments wont make them true.
He was about to say something like "I was totally against the war in Iraq from a something something perspective" but then he remembered he has to stick to 4th grade language.
I feel like people don't realize a Trump presidency would have massive repercussions in our relationships with every nation/ally on the planet. And not in a good way either....
thats my problem. the legislative and judicial branches arent going to let him get away with even half of his claims, but i am TERRIFIED of his diplomacy. why couldnt the republicans have gone with Kasich, who would have easily crushed clinton?
Eric Miesbauer Because we actually want change and to be part of a real political revolution.
The Trump Train! There's a difference between wanting change and positive change. Trump's plans might be different, but they appear to be worse than the traditional status quo. Not to mention morally incorrect.
Plus the Russians said the exact same thing when they created the Soviet Union and look where it got them: Stalin
The Trump Train! or we could have bettered the system by voting in a president with a track record of bi-partisan law making and fair, reasonable laws who balanced the budget in his state (which is a key voting state). he was the only candidate who the hillary campaign legitimately feared but you opted for a fucking joke of a candidate who will probably bring America down around himself for profit.
Ben Wasserman George Washington said the same thing too and look what we got, America.
I fucking hate politics.
He recants his own words so many times, we shouldn’t really believe what he says.

You should rename the video HOW TO CORRECT HILLARY CLINTON & DONALD TRUMP. This video shouldn't be leaning towards one or another. This is a great video for any fact checker/moderator.
and 4 years later, nothing will change
because u are there. u have leave and all will change
"yeah.. I guess... so..." Does this sound like an enthusiastic support of the war?
So you base your initial argument is "Yeah I guess so." I would argue that he was a member of the public, a celebrity who relied on public opinion for his business, not a politician at the time. You have the stats yourself, initially people wanted it. His job wasn't to really look into that at the time, where it was Clinton's.
He is fact checking Trump. Trump said "I was against the war in Iraq". He was actually for the war in Iraq.
Clinton was for the war but she never said "I was against the war in Iraq".
Fair enough, but I still feel as though it's worth mentioning that his opinion had 0 bearing on the situation at the time whilst Hillary's choices literally got people killed.
X7Maverick
It's not about his opinion. It's about the lie. If Trump didn't say "I was against the war in Iraq" and criticized other people for supporting the war, we wouldn't be talking about this.
We didn't go to war because of Hillary , we went to war because congress declared war based on false intelligence , and George W. Bush directed the military after congress declared war.
So we are gonna hold everyone to their lies?
Hillary literally credits a KKK member I'm sorry but if you think Hillary did not have more of an impact than Trump in what happened whilest they were there you're way off. The video literally asks people to take this and run with it.
The public always forgets and come november it is one of either Hillary or Trump. One of them
X7Maverick He had some examples of Hillary lying in the video.
Robert Carlyle wasn't a KKK member when he mentored Hillary. He was a congressman.
"Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, former President Bill Clinton, West Virginia Governor Joe Manchin and members of Congress attended the memorial service for Byrd at the State Capitol in Charleston, West Virginia, on July 2, 2010."
I guess our government loves KKK members too ?
"Well, it's easy to state what has been my biggest mistake. The greatest mistake I ever made was joining the Ku Klux Klan. And I've said that many times. But one cannot erase what he has done. He can only change his ways and his thoughts. That was an albatross around my neck that I will always wear. You will read it in my obituary that I was a member of the Ku Klux Klan.
" - Robert Byrd
i hope the journalist see this.
A scrolling "fact check" at the top of the screen would go a long way. Just have a designated fact-checker for each tv station.
Please never stop making videos.
He did talk about Hillary, maybe you are so fixated in believing Trump's lies that you failed to see the objectivity in the report. Great work Nerdwriter!
fact checking is extremely important
“When a population becomes distracted by trivia, when cultural life is redefined as a perpetual round of entertainments, when serious public conversation becomes a form of baby-talk, when, in short, a people become an audience, and their public business a vaudeville act, then a nation finds itself at risk; culture-death is a clear possibility.”
- Neil Postman

Don't insult Lady Olenna like that.
It's weird that Chris Wallace, the one who said it wasn't his job to be a "truth squad", was also the one who grilled both candidates harder than the other moderators. He got Hillary to actually pivot from open borders to Russia, something which the other hosts couldn't do.
The solution is Jeremy Paxman.
Our candidates, media and government are failing us. It almost seems to be coordinated. There's something more going on. Keep digging nerdwriter.

Ok well for this to be a GREAT article he needs to do another on how to fact check Hilary, I support trump but understand he isn't in total agreement with me.
And u lied through out this and have none of the true facts that u could and to say trumps campaign is based on lies is a lie it was based on him saying he will fix the boarder and fix the veting system he never said there wasn't a veting system he said it was non existent in its duties I know the facts and ur so called facts are vague and misleading.

You can click on view all and see for yourself. They have a page on Clinton too. No, Trump doesn't always lie. He just lies a lot.
*border :D
Trump lies about 70% of the time. Hillary 'only' 25%. Disagreeing with him on 'some of the issues' is meaningless, given how often he lies.
How can you support Trump, despite the fact he lies constantly? Hillary lies as well and he points it out in the fucking video that you obviously didn't watch.
it doesn't matter, just get used to the idea of Emperor God King Trump.
MAGA
Should take Debates in a direction where its shorter. Candidates are given a question and must answer in their own time. After these statements, they may attack each other and try and pass charisma and afterwards, at the end of that discussion, the panelist read back the truths and lies of each candidate. If the candidate interrupts, their mic is cut off.
You didn't answer your own question though... How should you correct him? You cannot interview someone who doesn't care about the truth and who doesn't even care that the interviewer cares.. Lets say you are extremely prepared and call Trump out on everything you know to be false. He will just start saying that you are wrong. The problem is that you are thinking within the box of content, which Trump doesn't care about. He only cares about the feeling he conveys to the audience.
Wow - watching this three weeks after the election, makes it seem all the more poignant. Something has really gone wrong with how people perceive lies and truth, on all sides of the fence.
5.10 "you got me..."
Very nicely put together videos. i like your writing style and the AF graphic animations are great.
God: "I will solve your problems if you believe in me."
Trump: "I will solve your problems if you vote for me."
The claims of both have no basis in reality.
rkrokberg Hillary: I did not send/delete any confidential emails.
Also, same reality.
Can we be harder on Matt lauer now???
Your channel is by far one of my favourite channels on youtube ^^
why didnt you just call the video: how to correct the candidates in real time? clickbait? the video is nice but too shallow. good starting point though.
Here's my question, At the start of the video, you say that you can verify that Trump was not against the war from the beginning. However, you prove that firstly he was against the war in 2004, however, you can't find any reference to him saying he support it. The only quote you can find that is vaguely for the war in Iraq is when Donald Trump said in an "I don't really have an opinion about this that you will like" tone, said "yeah ... I guess so".
That's not really evidence that suggests that he was wholeheartedly for the war in Iraq, nor does it confirm it with 100% certainty that he was for it at the time. You have to remember Trump is not a member of the political elite nor a career politician, and thus he may have had different opinions to what he said publicly as it may affect his businesses (many business owners do this).
All politicians lie, and to be honest it is perfectly expected for them to lie. It's not up to the mainstream media to debunk those lie's as this will lead to the partisan reporting on issues we see today. The debunking of lies should be reserved for the voter and the alternative media such as yourself.
Finally, the issue with Clinton's lies is she didn't only lie to the people, she lied to the FBI and congress. What's even more shocking is that the FBI has tried to cover up the lies. Even the FBI said that if anyone else had of done it, they would be put in jail for life. This is corruption and is something we should all be against regardless of political affiliation. Her lies affected millions of lives.
Her lies signify its ok for politicians to have one set of rules, while the rest of us have to live by another. It signifies that we live in a class system, where rules are different depending on your status, and which club you're in. She is what you would call a Bourgeoisie. Us Proletariat need to stand up to these kinds of people and fight for what is right.
If we are to have true socialism in the US, we need everyone, regardless of whether you're a politician or not, to live under the same rules.
I would urge people to vote for Trump to send a message to the government, that we don't tolerate corruption in the USA, and for we want to see justice served to Hillary Clinton.

Clearly the American people can't be trusted to do their own fact checking, as your "question" contains multiple untrue statements of fact. You just repeated what you heard Trump say.
And, FYI, asking a question and advocating a position are two different things.
Full quote in the interview:
“Yeah, I guess so, I wish the first time it was done correctly.”
Fact Check: Clinton did not lie to the FBI, as Comey himself said.
Dude I love all your videos, you and Every Frame A Painting are seriously making me consider a film degree. Love your videos man. Keep up the good work.

Working on it.
How about you also work on the art of not splitting hairs? Sure, you can parse words...and point to Donald Trump saying "Yeah...I guess so" in a half hearted voice, right after the war started. But you are missing the big picture (perhaps intentionally?) The bottom line Nerdwriter, is that Donald Trump PUBLICLY opposed the Iraq War MORE THAN ANY OTHER CANDIDATE - INCLUDING CLINTON AND THE DEMOCRATS (with the one exception being Bernie Sanders) And he did so WHILE the war was still raging. YES, there was a brief period where he half-heartedly supported the war (as in "Yeah...I guess so) but that was because the war had JUST BEGUN and the entire country was cheering on the troops. There are numerous interviews after that (such as the Wolf Blitzer interview) where Trump lambasts the war and calls George Bush "the worst president we've ever had." AND he publicly criticized the Bush family during the primaries and saved us from a possible THIRD Bush presidency. More importantly, he is CURRENTLY opposed to starting any more wars and he's calling for diplomatic relations with Russia instead of saber rattling like Clinton and the globalists. Instead of playing smarmy attack dog, maybe you should look at the BIG PICTURE and realized that Trump- despite all his flaws- is actually LESS likely to push America into a war than a controlled globalist like Clinton would be.
+utube9000 right on
This is a distinction clearly lost on the host who seems unable to extricate his head from Hillary's hiney. Really, when it comes to flat out f*king lies, who could ever compete with the Queen herself, but this does not seem to register with Nerfrider.
+C. A. G. completly agree
This is the best thing about Wednesdays
This should have been called, " How to social engineer people into voting for Hillary.".
when did you tube change the comments section?
Monday
thanks, kinda sucks, oh well
The only good part I see is you can like comments, but the "expand comment section" loading in another window is fucked up
"View all replies", I mean
What's Different? Looks the same to me
“If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.”
That hand-raise at the end was great.
Hi! First of all, congratulations for the amazing content you put out in this channel, I'v been following for a long time and think you're one of the best "entertainers" on RUclips. With that said, I recently saw "DEMOLITION" by Jean-Marc Vallée, with Jake Gyllenhaal, and was wondering if you could do a essay about it. I would love to your opinion and perspective on the movie.
Keep up the great work!
"Yeah, I guess so", doesn't convey to me he's an ardent supporter, he says it somewhat in passing.
Agency is stored in the balls yeah but the original claim wasn’t whether he was an ardent supporter but whether he vehemently opposed the war from the beginning
Trump is a great man.
Nice b8 m8, but if you're serious, would you bother telling us why? To me, he seems like a liar using extremism to seperate himself from the rest of the candidates.
There's no point, I'll just have my inbox raped by left-wing morons.
Nicholas Moth So you make a statement, but once asked to justify it, you try to evade doing so. What does this have to do with left-wing morons? If I make a statement saying that the USA is/are bullshit and underdeveloped and just back off after doing so, wouldnt that be extremely cowardly? If you want to have an impact on how people look at something, you should bother explaining how you look at it and why, because otherwhise its just pointless and in no means different from an unjustified assumption.
Cubic Cube Do you support Hillary?
Yeah, great at lying.
I just got here 2019 and a full conservative right winger but this is some good shit . It’s very fair of both sides and not biased one bit
i hope nerd writer could do a analysis on #DNCleaks, please????
Hahaha got eem
Not one word of the science of "FACT CHECKING"
he seems like a very nice man, i hope he gets elected and does not try to coup the US government by instigating a violent mob on the legislative branch :)
I am in no way a Trump apologist, but that clip of him being "for" the war in Iraq only further bolsters Trump's assertion that he was against it.
... If anything, he didn't care. Not caring is hardly the same as being opposed to it. He would have you believe he was out on the streets protesting it from day one... Which is patently false.
I think you missed the point. When in conjunction with the Esquire article, it shows that his really good at dodging hard questions.
+jm smith is it really that hard to be civil? Because the people who fire off things like "you're a dumbass" telegraphs perfectly the kind of person you are. One of two really.
1) you are barely a teenager and you get picked on or your parents force decisions on you
2) ah what the hell Go Fuck Yourself
+Bret Hartley JM Smith was getting chippy, too bad there's so much of that in comments section. Still, "Yeah, I guess so" will never imply "I was totally against the war...". Similarly, "No, I guess not" will never imply "I was totally in favor of the war ...". Yes is yes and no is no. "Totally" leaves no wiggle room.
Demonstrably false.
"Yeah, I guess so." doesn't sound like a ringing endorsement.
4.2k dislikes are from the Trump supporters that didn’t understand the video
Being conservative doesn’t make you stupid, there’s no doubt that being stupid makes you more likely to be conservative
No. Being stupid makes you more likely to be whatever the guy next to you is.
Sound about right. BUT The guy who said "Being stupid makes you more likely to be whatever the guy next to you is" is WAY too more spot on I've met a lot of left winged people who has no idea what are they talking about.
And being poor makes you democrat, what is the point?
On top of that there is clear correlation between IQ and being poor, which turns logic into paradox.
(assuming that we are only creating "statistical statements", #NotAll obviously)
nice job on the editing dude
this was good, but it should be titled, "How to Correct Donald AND Hillary in Real Time"
That creates a false equivalence. Stating that both lie obfuscates the vast difference in scale.
Miles Kelley They both lie...a lot...deal with it.
Yes the bot lie ALOT, but Donald lies magnitudes more than the massive amounts that Hillary already lies, deal with it.
Zipo214 Yeahh, but a liar is a liar, especially when Hillary's had more lies recorded of her for her entire career then Trump could even match in 5 elections, so deal with that.
Your reasoning is really terrible here. You should think this through.
a) *citation needed*, b) ... but your claim is supremely doubtful, c) time frame difference renders your comparison incoherent, d) difference in type and intention of lies, and e) the issue remains that within this election's time, the scale of lies and their purpose put them distinctly into different categories.
The equivalence you seek to draw is *still* false. The ways you could argue against Clinton are utterly numerous. So do yourself a favor, and at least use an effective argument.
could you make a video about Clinton?
The first debate should also open with General knowledge questions asked back and forth.
Questions of current events, American history, diplomatic history, world politics, the legislative process, history of civil rights etc. With no categories given out before debate.
Not knowing certain answers should not be a negative in itself.
A candidate could be more ignorant of the legislative process but have more vision, a more genius moral understanding.
But people will know just how weak his understanding is of governing/history/diplomacy and if it's disqualifying.
This is similar to something you have to do to be a citizen, let alone a president.
Your mistake was trying to stump The Trump
So, can we go back to film and other entertainment genres you're great at analyzing, instead of pushing political agendas randomly? It doesn't suit you well. Stick with the reason people came to watch you in the first place.
This channel is just SO AWESOME!! Im so glad I subscribed!! Learning a lot, very interesting subjects! Thank you so much!!
make a video about trump lying? do you know who he is running against?
