Banggood has its spring sale on so there should be some bargains to be had RC wise. www.banggood.com/marketing-spring-trendy-sale-rc-toys-and-sports-sale/tid-42613.html?utmid=22036
yup, overkill on the power tearing things up. might be good with an inexpensive end bell brushed motor like an Atomik 1314 is a 19 turn double you can adjust the brush timing with. nice part is it should run OK with the stock electrics, if the amps pulled doesn't hurt the ESC section. a little basher like that doing 23-25 mph is plenty.
Love how u used the wltoys shocks lol.... I used them on my remo 1631 1/16th scale As came with friction shocks... I had 500cst oil in them and was to bouncy so changed up to 900 as all i had and its handles alot better jue to no rear sagging of the shocks on the a-arms but seen your video on flyhal 610 and as u said this model had more punch that jue to a lower kv motor with more torque but thanks to your video ive now gone ahead and brought a 610 lol
Hello 👋. They look like Wltoys shocks but they are infact meant for the XLF: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/275079271947?mkevt=1&mkcid=16&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0 . Yes the FC610 is a really good buggy well worth the money. I think the HBX it's based on is twice the price!! 👍👍
Also I was taking to a mate of mine last night, and he was saying that he thought the orange surpass hobby motors had more power than the newer red ones? 👍
@@theminiatureconstructionco4556 2bh i think there just the same as surpass ones..... I know on banggood the racestar motors are always a couple quid cheaper than surpass but then bl via other sites are same price as surpass unless you getting of prime and they are 20 to 30 quid lol
That's a good one. Both do exactly the same thing make them go faster. The orange canned Surpass motor, although is a slightly lower kv seems punchier for some reason? Both ESCs are "supposed" to be 60A so there's no difference there. But it could be the fact that the FC610 has a centre diff and its altering how the power is put down? With the X04 you give it the beans and you cannot keep the front end on the deck but not so with the FC? Again could be the centre diff? I don't think you would be disappointed with either option, especially considering I've yet to put 3S through either set up. Both have damaged a transmission gear/gears so there is plenty of power. Hope this helps? 👍👍
@@RaceGun75 the centre drive shaft on mine is like a giant dog bone, either end of which locate in those drive cups. Which ultimately connect to the front and rear diffs. What is yours like? 👍

I agree. One last go with 3S then I'll call it a day with this one! Before it completely explodes! 👍😅

Which brushless setup would you recommend for the FC610? This or the 4500kv?
