2.09 - gives me physical goose bumps! i love robbie for re-introducing swing into a generation that has been deprieved of its greatness! this song is an amazing cover
Thank you very much boguswoman81 for your comment. I'm so glad you like Robbie Williams. He really sing very well all Sinatra's songs. I saw all this show of him on cd. It is really great. I recommend you with the best please to watch all this show, if you have this possibility. It worthes. It is another Robbie than how all of us know him.
This is amazing on Blu-ray, you have to get it from Amazon straight away. The images are so true to life you actually start thinking your there, in the best seat in the hall - amazing quality, especially If your watching on a big screen!
He's not Sammy Davis nor does he claim to be. He is his own. And a wonderful performer in his own right. This concert/cd was him paying tribute to the greats that came before him. It wasn't meant for nitpickers. This his gift to himself and tge rest of us are just happy to share it.
with a voice like this what a prat 2 dope it all away some people have once in a lifetime 2 make it close 2 where he got BUT love the this and the conceret
Robbie and especially Swing When Your Wining helped get me through some bad times. Not often you hear covers that are better than the original, but on SWYW they all are. been to see him twice and for a straight male it can sometimes be a bit embarrassing.
@kadakas1 Totally agree, it's his voice! It has matured so much, and Robbie would not sink to the level needed to mime at his own concert, he has way too much class! Love you Robbie, always! Ly x
Robbie Williams is a wery popular British singer. I think, the whole Europe knows him. Apparently he really is not that famous in USA. The thing is, he is actually a pop singer, and that he can sing jazz as well is quite unusual for a pop singer. In my opinion, he sings really well. A big voice and big timbre is not all that matters. In jazz, nuanced singing is the most important thing, and I think that Robbie Williams has managed to do just that with this song.
thats not fire in his eyes he looks coked up 2 me after the song he drinks a fans water. cotton mouth from the drugs. but still what a guy. thats just my oppinion though
