I have a 2021 CLA 45 AMG and get about 20 in the city. BUT I only drive it in comfort mode not sport or sport+ in the city. That has made a HUGE difference. I also use the parking assistance for the tight parallel parking. Another game changer. Thanks for the info!
if you want to save more gas use individual mode because the comfort mode is set to moderate but when you go to individual mode you can set it to whatever you want and one of the options is called "reduced" which can save you even more on gas.
This is not a long car. I personally drive a 2008 Toyota Avensis. The lenght difference is like .2 inches. The wheels base is even longer on the Toyota and I have no problems with parking the car. (We have tight parking spaces aswell)
This might sound crazy, but I had considered going with a CLA35 back in 2020, but ended up getting a Mazda 3 Turbo in Nov '20 instead. I couldn't justify the price difference between the optioned out 35 to Turbo 3. For 35k, I would have had to spend about 55k for the same features. 20k for 50hp just didn't make sense, plus Mazda has incredible reliability now. The 45 is still an incredible car, but 70k for what you've described is not ideal. Also, they aren't hatches, we deserve the A Hatches!
I have both a Mazda daily driver with 282K miles and a 2014 MB C250 with around 80K now. My Mazda CX-7 has been very reliable and inexpensive to maintain. I got to be more careful with the C250 on the city. Most MB’s are pretty low. Potholes and road debris can do some serious damage to tires, wheels, undercarriage and body. I’m always very careful with speed bumps, curbs and parking spaces. Especially with the front bumper lower chin area.
Great video and always very informative! 1)could you upload a video by showing the clunkiness of the gearbox within the city and 2)why your back camera is stuck while getting out your parking lot? Thnx!
Did you wrap your Mercedes emblems on your wheels? Noticed your C63 had them blacked out too. If you purchased them please share a link. Im having trouble locating some. Thnx.

Standard price(without any discount) is 57.000$. What did you pay 13.000$ for, since I can see a lot of the equipment is missing on yours? 360 camera with parking assistant costs 1090$.
Excellent information! how would you compare the suspension between the AMG C63s 2019 coupe (facelift) and AMG CLA 45 2020 coupe? I know you had both, is the CLA 45 stiffer? the local (Dallas TX) MB dealership is trying to make me trade my C63s 2019 for a new 2023 CLA 45 but I have seen some other videos with people not very happy with the CLA 45.
I have an A45s and everything this guy is saying is not true. DO NOT BELIEVE HIM. This is typical disingenuous talk from people who own these kinds of cars but don’t want others to own them. Before I got mine I spoke to plenty of owners and most of them were lying, talking about how “daily driving is so terrible and uncomfortable and fuel economy is horrible” and how you need to “fill the car up with gas literally every 2-3 days”. At first this scared me from buying one - which is exactly what these people want - but after talking with a genuine AMG owner, I pulled the trigger and I got my car. This car drives nicely, definitely comfortable for an AMG and fuel economy really isn’t that bad if you just drive normal on comfort mode. Of course you’re gonna be filling it up more than you would a normal gas car obviously (especially if you drive sporty) but it’s not that bad seriously. I can easily last 1.5 week on a full tank WITH sporty driving. To the people on the edge of buying one, just know that this is an AMG, so it will obviously be a bit less comfortable and fuel economy is obviously higher than a normal CLA for example, but again, it’s really not that bad. I love my car as a daily driver and as a weekend warrior. Good luck to everyone.
Lmao I think you are off your rocker. Everything I said IS TRUE because I literally lived with the car myself and I am talking about my experience with it. Everyone has their own experiences with cars and so far this is what I have experienced. You contradict yourself with the amount of times you’ll be filling up the car. The car is also not that comfortable in these seats and also the sporty suspension. I have quite literally filled up my car within every 3 days sometimes because of it eating up gas in comfort. I am a ‘genuine’ AMG owner, I have had more miles in AMGs than you probably have in your daily A45s. Don’t go talking when you don’t know much yourself, I’m not fear mongering. I am simply explaining my own experience of ownerships. Thanks for the view though!
@@yaboibakalli I think the both of you are taking certain things are out of context, specifically geography. I owned a 2020 CLA45 almost the same time as you do and have been following you ever since. At the end of the day it gives me more pain instead of joy, I need to clear 3-4 warning for every single ride. Good things is I sold it for almost the same price when I bought it (lost $2000 plus all the tax I paid in full at the beginning), because in today's crazy market, there is no single CLA45 left in whole Canada market This is my first and for sure will be the last Mercedes I own, maybe I'm just unlucky but I've already lost faith in Mercedes. I got a 2022 golf R manual instead, much cheaper, even more well equipped and fingers crossed it won't give me too much pain. And will move to manual M3/M4 in the future once I get used to their big noses lol.

I have the exact same transmission issue with the A250. Thinks it’s just Merc transmission in general, very jerky at low speeds
