I definitely like watching coasters go at the end. We don't really get a chance to see them in action in the sped up bits.
Thanks for letting me know! I'll make sure to keep it in for future videos
Watching your park building is almost therapeutic, the most relaxing RUclips series.
Also love watching the rides at the end
That makes me so happy to hear! Glad you enjoy watching the rides at the end - looks like I will keep them in for future videos
Hey love watching you make parks roller coaster tycoon is my favorite game
Thanks very much! Definitely my favourite game too haha
You're very good at fitting roller coasters into small spaces. I really enjoy watching the ride-throughs.
Thanks very much - I do really enjoy the challenge of utilizing smaller areas so I appreciate the comment! Thanks for letting me know you enjoy the ride throughs too!
Since we don't really get to see the rides because of the fast forward gameplay, its a treat to see them at the end. The woodie was way bigger than it already looks and that mine train coaster was indeed very slow. Looking forward to the next park already!
That's a good point! Glad you viewing them at the end. Yeah the wooden coaster took up a lot of space - certainly made landscaping/decorating easier!
Yes please do keep the chill rollercoaster tours at the end of your videos. Maybe with the little ride window thing closed to add to the atmosphere :] always a pleasure watching your builds
Noted! That's an interesting idea - maybe I'll give that a go! I have it in there so people that enjoy watching the 'moving camera' can watch the train that way, but it may well detract from the atmosphere. Thanks for the thought!
I like to watch the coasters. 👍🏻
I'm glad to hear that! Thanks for letting me know
I always enjoy the coaster flyovers at the end for sure! It's a really nice way to round out the videos. Adore what you did with the park here, it looks stunning!
That's great to hear you enjoy seeing the rides at the end - thanks for letting me know and for the kind words!
I like how RUclips recommended this video to me moments after finishing this exact scenario.
Haha, YT knows everything! Hope you enjoyed the video, good luck with the rest of the scenario list!
Diamond Heights!!!!!!!!!
Love the playthroughs
Thankyou! Can't wait for Diamond Heights!
great series! i appreciate your attention to detail, aesthetics, making the park look authentic, and putting yourself into the guest shoes.
Thanks so much! I'm very happy to hear that you enjoy that style - it definitely feels more satisfying to me that way too. Thanks again for the nice words :)
Glad you liked the name suggestion. I've played this game a lot over the years, and while I think I've improved at making coasters, it's still very hard for me to manipulate the landscape into something I'm satisfied with. It's really enjoyable to watch you mold the land and the scenery into something beautiful, so I thank you for the motivation. I also respect that you keep to the constraints of the game without using trainers or OpenRCT2.
You're welcome! Glad you find it motivational. Just keep at it and you'll eventually (hopefully) find a style that you enjoy doing, it doesn't always work out first time for me, sometimes I experiment quite a bit 'off camera' to figure stuff out first before the recording. I enjoy working with the constraints of the first RCT - sometimes limiting my options is better as I'm a pretty indecisive person at the best of times haha. Cheers
I did not expect to hear my home mentioned on a random RUclips video.
"Lonely as God, and white as a winter moon, Mount Shasta starts up sudden and solitary from the heart of the great black forests of Northern California."
I miss the Shasta valley.
It was such a gorgeous spot! That mountain is so picturesque. We didn't spend a great deal of time in the area, but I'm super happy we took the slight detour off the interstate to get a better look at it.
It's truly one of the wonders of California. I'm glad you took the time. Europe may take my bones, but the Shasta valley shall take my soul.
Another vote for the coaster ride-throughs. I'd even leave in the lift hills, it's nice to watch the park bumble about.
That's an interesting point about the lift hills - I just assumed people would skip over that, but I might give that a go next time! Thanks for the thought
@@MickanMansRCTStation I think I speak for most of your viewers in that we're in no hurry to get to the end of the video. Quite the opposite!
that's very kind, thanks!
Always look forward to your new uploads! Sometimes when I play a scenario with a big lake like this, I like to build a straight path across, directly on the water (not to look like a bridge), because of my memories of the floating bridge that was at Geauga Lake connecting the 2 sides of the park. It might look a bit unsightly, but I always think of that bouncy, wobbly bridge that moved with the water.
I've never heard of that park but I just looked it up - seemed like it was a charming little place, shame that it closed. The bridge looked pretty awesome going by the photos I see! Maybe I'll try it out in a later scenario
Was away for a bit and missed seeing this upload… but the end results was awesome! So happy I looked back to see you finish this park off. Amazing work as always!
Thanks a lot! Glad you liked the finished product - I thought it came out pretty nicely too!
Beautiful looking park. I def like showing off the rides at the end of each park. Def keep them in, in my opinion.
Thanks a lot! I'm really to happy to hear that quite a few people enjoy that - I'll definitely keep them in for future playthroughs!
Another great playtrough from you, as always. I'd definitely keep doing the thing where you go trough all the rides and showing off their stats at the end of your playtroughs. It kind of inspires me to keep doing stuff in Openrct2 just because I'm not that good at making coasters without stopping immediately due to lack of inspiration. Looking forward to whatever park you do next!
Thanks for the kind words and sharing your thoughts on the rides at the end! Glad to know you find it useful/inspiring. Keep at it with the coaster building!
I look forward to your videos every other week ! Keep up the good work
That means a lot - thanks very much!
Another great video! Your parks are amazing! Love your videos
Really appreciate that! Thanks so much!
I love your park. You did a great job with completing the scenarios while also making them realistic at the same time. I am already excited to see how you will do with Diamond Heights. Keep it up!
Thanks very much and glad to hear that you like it! I'm excited about Diamond Heights too!
Watching the rides at the end is my favorite part! Your building process is really interesting, but it can be hard to follow some of the layouts with the sped-up footage. Watching them at the end is like finally getting to see the park breathe after all your hard work! You could maybe turn the music up a smidge more during it, it's just a bit quiet, but best part regardless!
Thanks so much again for the kind words! That's a great point about not getting the full picture of the coaster with the timelapse - thanks for letting me know your thoughts on it! I'll certainly consider turning the music up a bit!
I was the one who suggested the intertwined water slide, to which I say (quoting Lemongrab): UNACCEPTABLE!!!
Nah, I-a joke. I'll look future to that future intertwinedness. ;)
Hahahaha, sorry about that! I still love the idea and I feel like Diamond Heights could be the place to try something like this!
Yes please Diamond Heights next!
Sure is! Although I may jump back to the Corkscrew Follies/Added Attractions pack list for the next playthrough!
Man, after a couple of months and here you’re improving more and more on making the park realistic while at the same time progressing well on every level.
Thanks! Glad you think things are improving!
@@MickanMansRCTStation Don’t mention it :) I’ve also been trying to improve my realism skills in my own gameplay recently on my PC and RCT Classic on my phone.
May not nearly have the skills you got but I’m definitely making my parks satisfying to look at.
That's great to hear! As long as you're satisfied with the end result that's all that matters!
great stuff! love from germany
Danke schön! Right back at ya!
What a amazing park! Im really impressed in your skills to make those amazing parks with just the base game features! Im looking forwards to see what you can do more!
Thanks as always!
Please don't stop including the coasters at the end!
Thanks for the feedback! I'll make sure to leave them in going forward!
Of all the coasters you built here, I liked your wooden one best... at least as far as looks go. However, I'd take the mine train one you built most if I could actually visit your park.
I think I'm the same actually - I tend to do much better on the smaller coasters!
@@MickanMansRCTStation Building in the game or riding in real life?
Actually...probably both!
I know I'm jumping the gun a bit, but I'm so curious as to how you're going to take on Mel's World and Pacific Pyramids.
I have actually uploaded playthroughs of those already! Mel's World evidently was the first ever video I uploaded on this channel, so that's the main reason I'm going back and doing this first batch of 'original RCT' scenarios. I'm not super pleased with how Mel's World turned out the first time though so I may end up redoing that later. Pacific Pyramids on the other hand I was quite happy with, so probably won't get a re-run.
W park
Thanks very much!
Do Diamond Heights! Your parks are awesome
I will at some stage! Just need to figure out the best strategy for it to make it look reasonable - the pathing system is giving me nightmares haha
Take your time! The geography of the place is indeed very tricky! Cheers 🇧🇷
Haha I appreciate that! Yeah it certainly is a tricky landscape to work with
Keep the endings in!
Will do!
Hi! Love your videos, they're so under-rated!
Would you happen to know how to get OG RCT1 working with 1920x1080 borderless window?
Yes I *can* just use OpenRCT2, but in this particular use case (wanting to experience the original UI), that does not scratch my itch sufficiently
Thanks very much!
Unfortunately I am pretty sure the OG RCT1 has a max resolution of 1280 wide, I've not been able to extend beyond that :(.
Totally understand about OpenRCT2 not hitting the same nostalgia factor!
@@MickanMansRCTStation Thank you for that, and I have an update! Girlfriend knows how to use the GPU I have, and taught me how to set my monitor/GPU to use either aspect ratio or integer scaling! Alt-tabbing is still a pin in the butt so can't do that, but the game looks just fine now!
that's fantastic! Glad to hear you got it sorted out - hope you enjoy playing! :D
