  • Here we begin the classic RCT scenario Leafy Lake, the third scenario on the RCT base game list to replay the first twelve scenarios.
    Big shoutout to @Silvarret for the original layout / design for the steel / looping coaster design! I was a massive fan of the one featured in his RCT Scenario Showcase video which can be found here:
    • Roller Coaster Tycoon ... . I made a few changes to the layout in the end but full credit goes to him for that one.
    Objective: To have at least 500 guests in your park at the end of October, Year 3, with a park rating of at least 600.
    Park: Leafy Lake
    Music:
    From RUclips Audio Library
    Artist: Patrick Patrikios

    Your videos are like watching Bob Ross painting or Norm Abram building. Each little addition turns a blank park into a work of art!

    Excited to see you tackle one of my favorite scenarios! Your landscaping skills never fail to amaze me - I particularly love the look of the decked out car ride surrounded by the miniature railway turnaround. And that looping coaster?? Absolutely phenomenal the way it utilizes the terrain. Happy holidays, looking forward to seeing more of these videos in the new year

      Thanks man! Glad you liked the car ride - it was a bit of a mish mash but it ended up coming together pretty well I think! Happy that you like the final look of the coaster layout, it was really fun adding in the tunnels but credit has to go to Silvarret for the original design and inspiration!

    Great video on building around the lake in RollerCoaster Tycoon! It's always interesting to see the different approaches and strategies players use to design their parks, and it was really cool to see how you incorporated the lake into your park. The use of water rides and other water-themed attractions was especially creative and added a unique twist to your park. I can't wait to see what other improvements and additions you make in future episodes. Keep up the great work!

    I absolutley adore your building style; while most RCT youtubers use cheats and trainers and the like to create, admittedly really beautiful things, you stay within the bounds of the unmodified, vanilla game and try to maximize the potential of that. It's the same philosophy I adhere to when I play, but you are just generally better at it than I, making your videos an unparallelled joy for me to watch! I hope I get to continue seeing your builds for a good long while!

      Thanks so much! That really means a lot! I do enjoy the challenge of using the limited scenery/decorating options, and I admittedly find it easier than OpenRCT2 in many ways because I'm not as overwhelmed with options! Thanks again for the kind words and glad that you've been enjoying the videos! Cheers!

    Nothing like getting your face scratched and full of shrubbery when you're riding a roller coaster! Please don't overdo the trees... What I'd rather do is make a small park-like section at the exits of my intense rides so nauseous guests can sit and relax. I get less mess on the ground and it helps me keep the park orderly as well as having pretty sections and walking spaces. There's also less crowding, but there have to be more benches than I'm seeing here.
    Anyways these are greatly enjoyable, you seem like a very experienced ride builder and your parks always look interesting with fun paths and layouts. Much appreciated showing all the rides at the end, there have been quite a few I really wish I could visit if they were real (with a helmet).

      Thanks very much! Yeah I probably go overboard sometimes with the shrubbery. That's an interesting note re the relaxing section at the exits of intense rides, I might try and do a bit more of that in the future

    • @MickanMansRCTStation
      @MickanMansRCTStation  11 месяцев назад

      The railway and stations would have taken up a bit too much space for my liking, so preferred a smaller railway in the corner of the map. I would have rather had more profitable coasters in the space around the lake
