    • @MakersGonnaLearn
      @MakersGonnaLearn  3 года назад +1

      Hello!!! Thank you so much! So, Regular household irons do not work well with HTV. They have such uneven heat distribution, you never know which part of the design is heated/adhered properly because of this. Also you never know what temperature your Iron is actually at, making it hard to properly adhere your design. We HIGHLY recommend getting a Cricut EasyPress Mini: amzn.to/2zvjW9D for all of your HTV projects :)

    how does the clear sheet not melt? does it make a difference in the end quality of the design on the shirt if I use a silicone or paper sheet over before I apply the heat? tia :)

    • @MakersGonnaLearn
      @MakersGonnaLearn  4 года назад +1

      Hello! So, the clear sheet is built into the HTV. That is the reason we must cut the material transfer sheet side down, and why we have to mirror our images. It's made for heat so it doesn't melt. If you'd like to use a Teflon sheet or some parchment or butchers paper before heating, it will not affect the outcome of the project :) Hope this helps!

      Duplicate the design in Design Space. contour one, so that you just have the word "mama". Then, change the color. Now you have the bear and "mama" outline, and the "mama" word, so then you can layer them.
