i was watching "Twang and Bang" he had some of those arrow tips for the bullet arrows, he was firing from his crossbow and it wasn't hitting hard enough to set off the bullet. seems like it needs alot of pressure to make the bullet go off in those tips

Vets are essentially GPs who also do surgery, and mammals are mammals. A vet is a "jack-of-all-trades" sort of doctor in a lot of ways.

Either REALLY hard like steels or ceramics, or having strength in numbers, like Kevlar and other woven materials, really thick like bullet proof polymers, or really thick like a ream of paper. This plastic/foam you're speaking of is neither. It also was not designed to be bullet proof. Look at how thick the plastic at the bank is. (About 2¼"/30mm). Granted needing to be optically clear hinders its ability to be thin.
When it inevitably turns out they're not, you can at least say "Haha, really shot myself in the foot with that one" before rushing to the ER because you shout yourself in the foot.
cool thing about cutting weapons is they go right through kevlar armor, so using razor sharp hunting bolts would have gone way further throught the armor than the cone tiped training bolts.
Haven't watched this guy in over 2 years, now he shows up again. I like the real 2A channels. Maybe again in another 2 years. Kids do need to be entertained I guess.

Buy arrow wrap. They make it reflective. I go out after dark qith a flash light to find mine
