i was watching "Twang and Bang" he had some of those arrow tips for the bullet arrows, he was firing from his crossbow and it wasn't hitting hard enough to set off the bullet. seems like it needs alot of pressure to make the bullet go off in those tips

One thing I learned from archery of all sorts is that no matter how colorful that fletching is, if you shoot at an angle into grass, you ain’t getting that arrow back.
yeah.... and don´t start shooting in the spring when th ground is frosen. The arrows will fly wild .. :)
What I learned is that I can make armor out of printer paper.
Buy arrow wrap. They make it reflective. I go out after dark qith a flash light to find mine
The only way to find those lost arrows is with a metal detector lol

He's more than a little self-effacing. But I'll tell you what - in a "zombie apocalypse" scenario, I'd rather have a vet around than a "human" specialist or a dentist or someone like that. Vets are essentially GPs who also do surgery, and mammals are mammals. A vet is a "jack-of-all-trades" sort of doctor in a lot of ways.

I was thinking there's a high probability that the bullet goes off in the bow and yup. That was surprisingly a huge risk taken he usually takes a little more caution and I'm actually surprised that wasn't way worse and glad he didn't get hurt. I would've bet that would've hurt someone pretty bad!

Awesome. I once had a Junxing 180 lb compound crossbow. It was heavy and takes alot of strength to cork it. Finally I sold it. I am now contemplating buying another one which is much easier to handle.
