You can farm crimson or warped fungus with this farm! Composting the wart blocks will give you about half the bonemeal back. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial! Same, I’m making a nether hub that needed a lot of blue ice and warped fungus wood so I needed to make an ice farm then a warped fungus farm, but I need honey and slime so I had to search my world for bees to make a bee farm, then take all day making a slime farm. I’ve also been slowly farming obsidian which needed a lava “farm” of drip stone and a cauldron.

He is not, Mumbo is really good at redstone, but he is not that good at creating farms ( He has stated it multiple times)

Thanks a lot, I was struggling with finding a way to make this work without blocks being deleted. My design had the issue where I couldn't set up a collection system for it, because it would get deleted by the trees. The farm itself worked perfectly, hope they will fix the bugs so I can use it one day
the favorite part of these videos for me is the "important info" i like to build my own farms or alter them slightly to fit my needs/world/factory, so i always watch the important info several times to fully digest it
Quick note to anyone building this, count five blocks out from the nylium you are growing fungus on and place an observer facing upwards with a bell underneath it. When you hear the bell ring, stop placing fungus and collect all of your stems, wart blocks and shroomlights, or you will break the machine.
The reason is because some of the pistons will reach their push limit after that, and they can get pulled backwards or forwards and ruin all of your redstone work. I had to rebuild the entire back half of mine when this happened.
Glad I waited to build this until today. How many blocks out from the nylium in which direction?
5 blocks out from the top nylium, away from the wall of pistons. So that means 4 air spaces then the observer facing upwards.

This may be a bit late, but thanks for the help. Even though the farm produces less stems and stuff, at least your advice helps to prevent the farm from breaking.
Sebastian Negron No problem, I just thought it was worth putting here just in case someone found it useful. There is nothing worse than having to rebuild redstone machines when they destroy themselves. There are other solutions out there of course, this one is just the simplest. I did the same thing with the tree farm too. It just saves a world of effort if you are a bit careless like I was.

Also you are not kidding about blocks getting deleted, I play on my Xbox and sometimes slime or/& hunny blocks just vanish from behind the solid block wall & I need to repair it. Really hope the bug get fixed soon as I will be using this farm oh so often

I need this. I’m building nether tunnels in my world and I have a like 500 block long tunnel I need to blow up and then build. I use mostly nether wood for it too. Thanks for making this! Is going to be a big help!

If we're going with the nether theme for recent famrs, can you make a gold farm tutorial after the ghast blaster one? I don't know if making a nether portal gold farm in the overworld is better or making a gold farm in the nether is. And you, of course, are the answer to my confusion! I'm always impressed by how you manage to come up with all this stuff, and I'd like a gold farm tutorial from you, because you're one of the only Bedrock RUclipsrs I trust to provide me with answers. If not, could you give me a suggestion for a gold farm video to watch? Thanks!
I wish I had read the comments before spending my evening making this farm... Silent, you might want to sticky note about the issues with this farm. Like others already commented the pistons move backwards when hitting the push limit of just 5 trees and warped wart blocks still replace blocks inside the farm.
Yup, I was so happy and then bam it breaks after like the 5 or 6 sapling. Yay, but it's late and I'm to lazy to fix it.
I tried to build a player less version of it and I did get such problems although my design worked (thanfully)
If you plant at a VERY slow peast it works kinda

You can use pumpkins to cover the slime and honey as well.
They don't stick and are full blocks , so they don't get deleted.

if you're short on obsidian/terracotta, you can replace one or two columns with solid blocks, keep in mind that this will reduce the distance away your pistons can push, so any additional piston systems you place will have to be closer.
You absolutely must have the top and bottom obsidian, as well as at least one full column, else you won't have sufficient push distance to keep any additional piston systems safe from becoming overgrown with wart blocks.

Sometimes when I follow his tutorials I watch on 0.75 speed lol, it takes a second to get used to it but you will get used to it

Silent! Long time watcher first time Commenter. Hope all is well this new year! Can we get an updated version of this farm? I just built this one and it's great but I cannot connect that back dispenser into my bonemeal hopper chain. Is there a way to be able to attach a hopper to this back dispenser as it sits? This is the dispenser moved by the piston wall system. tyia !

@silentwisperer I can imagine with the trees being the way they are makes this style farm impossible almost. I did figure out if you put that "auto stop" from your tree farm and hook it up it will stop the trees from coming past a certain point but I guess somehow the piston wall still has a chance of breaking

Seems like a lot of people are having the same issue--pistons being pushed backward. Is it because of chunk borders? Are people reaching the 12-block piston pushing limit without realizing it? Is there a consensus? Should I bother building this or is it just too unreliable?
Edit: After a bunch of testing I think the issue is people not considering the slime and honey blocks when counting the 12-block piston pushing limit. After taking those into account this does seem to be working. Now I plan to use elements of this combined with Gruva's.

the one wide one is easier to make a auto block breaker but 5 wide one might be challenging

Yes that’s been happening to me. I was thinking of using obsidian in the back of the pistons in the glass in the solar blocks to stop them from being pushed backwards. Happened to me like four times and I finally cleaned up all of the fungus trees growing around the farm and fixed all my pistons in real life and everything I tested it with the lever on the back and every piston comes out to the front and then I turn it off and it retracts back like normal I’m afraid to turn the machine on with a fungus growing on it it’ll probably break but I’m kind of thinking if we put obsidian on the back it might stop it from being pushed back I don’t know .

My pistons kept pushing themselves out of line,I put two different runs of redstone alternating on each side of the piston w/ glass. Left side would get 1,3,5 etc and right 2,4,6...I removed the original redstone behind the piston itself and replaced it with an obsidian block. Signal wasn't strong enough to do it on the uppermost piston, but I've only noticed the lower ones push themselves out. Occasionally the dispenser's piston lets go of the slime row, so I added a lever to the piston circuit to override the observer and grab the block back. So far with that in place I've only had to reset it every 4-6 trees, which isn't bad
Following up on this, I've had several issues of the nether wart replacing terracotta after numerous cycles. After restocking a chest twice of stems, the netherwart seemed to delete the terracotta. It doesn't seem to delete the planks made from the respective crimson/warped stems but does remove the redstone on top of it. Crimson/warped planks are also not an option as they delete those as well

Can i build the 1 wide version, and then just put obsidian everywhere, kinda to stop the massive growth of wart blocks
As in have that one block wide part free so it can push out a lengthy line of wood and then the plan is to get some pistons in later and make the cube maker, but is it possible to minimise the extra wasted growth
Hay just wondering is the two repeaters is at the back how you get around the observer double clicking??
You could just send the 5 wide blocks straight to a ghast blaster, anything else seems like it'll be too much effort to actually get it to work more efficiently. I'd suggest having the ghast balls hit in order from bottom to top.
Yep, thats pretty much the plan 😅 me and gruva were talking about it, and compacting that 5 wide of long will be a nightmare lol
Farm doesn't work in 1.18 can u update it so it does most pistons don't push the wood and the piston qith the slim that touches the dispenser pushes it forward.

I'm not sure where I went wrong with this but it's broken for me on PS4. Often times the sticky pistons won't retract their blocks leaving a mess. Sometimes the sticky pistons would break and literally started to pop out the back of the farm trying to fly away. Gotta love bugrock.
I’ve had this farm for a long time now, I want to make it even better, with a ghast or a cubemaker, but I am no good at this. Is there a video on that?

Not sure if it’s on java as well but you can make ones where another player presses the button and you teleport there, as long as you’re in the same dimension
i plan on putting my tree farm in the end assuming it works and have a wither cage that breaks the blocks

Just had a quick question, the farm keeps breaking itself whenever I use it too much, like I can’t use the farm more than 4 times in a row or else it will push a bunch of pitons backwards breaking the red stone. Any tips I can use to improve the farm to prevent this? Or is there any obsidian that I can place?
You have to place an Observer facing upwards with 4 air spaces between the top nylium block and the observer and then place a bell underneath the observer so everytime u hear the bell, you have to mine the wood
This doesn’t seem to be working. The pistons get misplaced after about 8-9 trees grow. Any solutions? Or are nether fungi just unpredictable?

Great tutorial, but it does have a very critical flaw. It is almost impossible to feed into a cube maker. Whenever i try to feed it into a cube maker it always finds a way to back up and break

For me the piston with the solif block at the bottom keeps pushing, activating the observer and then Pushing, then activating the observer

I came to your most recent video to ask you have you done a honey farm? I tried to set one up from wattles but it’s not working and I play bedrock and the only thing I’ve ever built and had work was from you (wool farm) so....honey farm?
I just set one up and it's working (sort of). I used some of Wattles ideas in his build and some of Silents to build it. My only problem with it is the bees exiting the nests tend to trigger the bottles to drop prematurely.
For some reason some of the pistons will be pulled back for some reason and it’s random on which on do it, does anyone know why this could be happening

when i flick the test lever (i am at about 14:30 ) the pistons keep quickly extending and un-extending, but when i turn it off they stay extended. i dont think i have any of the redstone wrong, as i went back a bit in the video to check all of my redstone work, and nothing was out of the ordinary. please someone help. btw im on the switch.
