I don't know why but upon seeing the interior of the map I thought it looked similar to abandomed Sanatorium "Zdrowie" in Gdynia. Walked there a lot as a kid, hope to get spooked the same way here.
Had just played The Observer, great game, creeped me out because I just seen a 1984 creepy book in Observer then seen the same thing in The Medium the next day...learned the two are base in Krakow just a century apart in time I think.
@BlooberTeam, i cannot wait! What replay value does this game have, I'd love for varying difficulties similar to Silent Hill 2 & 3 with puzzle difficulty & combat difficulty being a separate thing. Either way im playing this day one & it looks amazing.
@@solidarnosc9663 I got mine by waiting in line for reserve at a GameStop and got only one of six that came in. So I was lucky enough to get it day one. It is really worth it. I’ve been constantly stunned by old and new games alike. Keep trying until you get one.

This will be the first survival horror game Ill ever play l, always been a COD fanboy but now that im on PC its time I try a new kind of game. This looks fucking amazing and like itll keep me up late, trying to beat it. Well done devs.

You should play it as it's own experience with no expectations of it being like anything else. I too love Silent Hill... but it would be unfair of me to compare a completely different game to it.

Thank you for this wonderful treat. - You know, just on a side note: It would have been so nice to see who plays the girl in the hotel. I think she would have loved to be mentioned too. Either way, all your actors have done so very well, and that most certainly includes the voice actors. Seeing the real hotel and, not least, the apartment buildings, where much and most of the game story takes place is _golden._ I can't believe that Observer was done by the very same apartment area. Of course, when it gets shown directly to us, it becomes seemingly "obvious" to us viewers. - On the note of using the same locations for different projects, there's a spot in the desert North-West of L.A. where literally several dozens of movies have been shot over time all the way back to the golden age of Western and 'spaghetti Western' movies (late 1950s through early 1970s). Several Star Trek scenes were shot there too, and movie scenes are still being shot there. This little video is just so awesome. - Thanks again. ............ P.S. I played it several times and took my sweet time walking through the forest with the player character's companion dog. @Xendrath Miles Morales has ray tracing at 60fps, and on less powerful hardware. And there’s nothing special about dual world rendering, Halo did that on the original Xbox. There is absolutely no excuse for this game to be locked at 30 frames.
I knew this game wasn’t going to be good. To much talking . That’s a bad sign...it kills the mood. Takes you out of the atmosphere. Why does sadness need to tell us her name? Would it have been more mysterious if she was mute and we were left with a sense of uncertainty and unease? Such a great way to create more tension. It’s a sale for me. Feels like a bad fan fiction story of silent hill 2 premiering on Nickelodeon.
80-85, playtime has me a bit concerned. Developer's tend to add some extra inflated time to make games seem longer before release. I hope this dont turn into a three hour long game with no replay value.
