The voice produces hardly any sub and we cannot even really hear sub properly but thuds and bangs on a table are mostly sub bass, so a highpass filter lets the voice through but not the other stuff (*if set too 100Hz at the highest, higher than that and it will start to cut voice bass frequencies, and that will make the voice sound very thin if you cut bass from the voice) Any queries about this please ask I would be happy to help if I can

At min mark (1:31-1:33) the Asteroid Worm (or space slug) is the “cave “ Han and everyone used while fleeing from the Empire in Empire Strikes Back. The best Star Wars movie… by far!!!!
Probably not. Good and evil are a matter of perspective. Pigs and cows probably think we're the bane of their existence because we trap them in pens, fatten them up then slaughter and eat them. To us, they're just food. Same thing for us and other beings in the universe
I would say the Chiss species are the closest enough to do that… maybe the Killik too. Though the Killik haven’t been heard from in tens of thousands of years in star wars
A scary thought is that the ISD Vector was never destroyed, its still out there in the dark waiting for someone to stumble onto it. And they're hungry.

The Star Wierds remind me of the Harry Potter Dementors just without the cloaks crossed with a Death Note Shinigami. Totally creepy, but could make a great horror film with an Alien's Xenomorph vibe.
I just had an amusing notion of a Tyranid hive fleet crashing into the unknown regions LOL Yuuzhan Vong wearing living weapons vs actual living weapons. Even the Mnggal-Mnggal would be running scared LOL

basically a force barrier created by those force gods i forgot about, (they're related to abaloth in a big way, look abaloth up and read the origin story i guess.)
@@kirk93814 No, there is not a physical barrier stopping any of them from crossing over. It's more like that inherent chaos (both in The Force and space itself) makes it immensely difficult for creatures to cross over or to arrive there is the first place, but its very, very possible.
It's funny seeing all the people say that these concepts are too 'out there' for Star Wars, when our own planet is filled with thousands of creatures that defy conventional thinking. Not supernatural, obviously, but if you look at things like the deep ocean, it is full of things that don't resemble any surface animal. It makes all the sense in the world for a galaxy as old as the Star Wars to be full of horrors. Most of them seem to be just differing manifestations of the dark side, anyway. I don't get why people would want the universe to be less frightening than our own actual world, when there are thousands of inhabited worlds and millions of systems the characters admit are unexplored, and the possibilities are endless. I swear, some people's vision can't go beyond 'Jedi vs Sith', and 'Rebels vs Empire', with a side of 'bounty hunters gaining power'. Many people like that also work at Disney. 🙄 And then fans complain that Star Wars never does anything new. If the worst thing in the SW galaxy is just guys clad in black running around with red sabers, then it's a pretty lame galaxy. Even Star Trek has its share of horrifying stuff, and it's more focused on 'science' and 'philosophy'. It's fine to have the 'traditional' stories like the Skywalkers, fighting against empires, Boba Fett stirring up his quest for power, etc., but if that's all you have, the series is never going to grow. You're just going to have the same stuff repeated ad nauseam, for the rest of its existence; and people will wonder 20 years from now why you're still on Rebels vs Empire, round 12. Personally, I think horror could bring in a whole new fanbase to the series, that would never have thought to check it out otherwise. It reminds me of J.J. Abrams' idiotic notion that Star Trek is about "Kirk and Spock". No, it's about a lot more than that, J.J. 😠 Not to mention, considering the dire state the SW film franchise is in, you may need Abeloth to kill everyone, so that someone can go back in time and reboot, to give the galaxy a fighting chance. There's literally nowhere to go after Episode 9. A 'Days of Future Past' scenario might be the only thing that can save it now. I'd keep her in the cards if I were Disney. 😐

this is badass! I think Lucasfilm/Disney could make an Anthology Series about different aspects of the Star Wars Universe focusing on different Characters/Timelines (Old Republic & Beyond Sequel Trilogy) every episode. Some scary episodes and some more lighthearted or even badass episodes. I'm sure many people would like that. I'd like a badass "War Movie" type episode for sure, more like Rogue One but maybe set in the Old Republic? Also some more scary episodes could deal with these "Starweird's" I've heard of those before, maybe an older video you made?
well if you want that, look at the old EU/Legends material. That's been done before but disney won't do that because all of it is now considered non-cannon
@@wyattborden1377 it's possible they can do something like that. Jus take a look at Visions. All anime sheeit and non-canon, I liked some of it and so did a bunch of other people lol
I have a feeling that The High Republic (esp. with The Nihil's connections to No-Space, The Nihil Retreat, and The Starweird) and Ahsoka (since it's most likely that Ezra, Thrawn, and his Star Destroyer went there) will examine this region of the galaxy. And, I have to say: The Sorcerers Of Rhand NEED to be brought in to official SW canon, as a threat to The New Republic...I was honestly hoping that Snoke was going to have a connection to this order of Dark Force-users. Interestingly, The Vong were supposed to be incorporated in to The Clone Wars; but, George Lucas would've altered their characteristics to not be resistant to The Force, since, in The SWU, NOTHING is immune to The Force.
Would like something like the randites to come into canon to populate the sequel or post sequel era. Could also mesh with Thrawn's goal. But I just like the idea of invading dark side users that aren't sith, and the defenders must rediscover how to use the force as there are no more Jedi or sith in the galaxy.
This looks like Star Wars meets Ghostbusters...and I love it! I know that Disney would never allow it but this definitely needs more recognition, like maybe it's own series of creepy stories. It could be similar to the Towani family's misadventures on Endor's forest moon, only darker and scarier.
You may have fear the Vong, but you must never fear the Bong. The Bong frees the mind and brings a sense of peace and happiness to the person who wields it.

The voice produces hardly any sub and we cannot even really hear sub properly but thuds and bangs on a table are mostly sub bass, so a highpass filter lets the voice through but not the other stuff (*if set too 100Hz at the highest, higher than that and it will start to cut voice bass frequencies, and that will make the voice sound very thin if you cut bass from the voice)
Any queries about this please ask I would be happy to help if I can
Nerd
huh I learned something new today. this was interesting to read
Worm wasn't in A New Hope, you're thinking of The Empire Strikes Back.
I think Star Wars Visions can be a good example of what we can explore in the unknown region. Sure the stories in there are non-canon, we can use these stories as basis on what kind people, creatures, and culture we can expect from the unknown region.
Interesting stuff! Keep up the good content man, God bless you!
I was planning on going to the unknown regions, good thing I watched this video
I would love to see more Unknown Regions because it my favorite section of the galaxy. Based on your description in the video, it is not a place I would travel but I want to learn as much about the unknown regions as possible.
Star Wars: the unknown regions saga. Come on, this is a goldmine of strange and creative things to explore that are just being...ignored.
Has been for year's
I love the legends lore of star wars. It's not cookie cutter tropes that all the movies do. It makes star wars seem more realistic in science fiction.
Starweirds are a new one for me. The way they were told sounded like something of a ghost story!
The Starweirds are definitely the most creepy! It’s like Space Slenderman! Not even jumping to hyperspace is an escape.
Damn those Star Weirds are crazy interesting. They would make for a awesome Star wars Horror movie or series.
Probably my new favorite Star Wars Legends creature to learn more about.
I’ll be avoiding the unknown regions from now on. That’s for dang sure
Yeah...a Warp tear needs to happen so that the Emporer of Man becomes aware of the existence of this Galaxy. 😁
Starweirds remind me of Demons in the Warp. Warhammer 40k stuff.
That’s insane that all that exists beyond known space in the Star Wars galaxy; makes me miss the Death Star.
At min mark (1:31-1:33) the Asteroid Worm (or space slug) is the “cave “ Han and everyone used while fleeing from the Empire in Empire Strikes Back. The best Star Wars movie… by far!!!!
The Star Werids sound absolutely terrifing to come across yet alone have a run in with
There many dangerous, terrifying, horrifying and evil things in unknown regions but are there any banevelent things capable of great good?
Probably not. Good and evil are a matter of perspective. Pigs and cows probably think we're the bane of their existence because we trap them in pens, fatten them up then slaughter and eat them. To us, they're just food. Same thing for us and other beings in the universe
That comment would make Palpatine blush
@@qjames0077 That comment would make Palpatine blush
@@donniesnyman2517 so it's treason, then.
I would say the Chiss species are the closest enough to do that… maybe the Killik too. Though the Killik haven’t been heard from in tens of thousands of years in star wars
man I didn't know Star Wars had so much awesome lore, truly an underappreciated and underused universe, by it's owners I mean.
Sadly this has all been erased by Disney in favor of happy go lucky bs
@@wintertrooper7918I despised Disney badly for ruining Star Wars.
I would have put the Iskalloni up there. They're the Star Wars equivalent of The Borg.
A scary thought is that the ISD Vector was never destroyed, its still out there in the dark waiting for someone to stumble onto it.
And they're hungry.
i always imagined that if i was in the star wars universe then i would want to explore the unknown regions. now i'm not so sure, maybe i'll just farm potatoes or something
The unknown regions is where the missing 13 minutes from the Watergate tapes are stashed
The Star Wierds remind me of the Harry Potter Dementors just without the cloaks crossed with a Death Note Shinigami. Totally creepy, but could make a great horror film with an Alien's Xenomorph vibe.
Reminds me of the reaper-fied asari boss creatures from mass effect 3. Maybe they were based on these things from star wars. :p
Read another book
I just had an amusing notion of a Tyranid hive fleet crashing into the unknown regions LOL Yuuzhan Vong wearing living weapons vs actual living weapons. Even the Mnggal-Mnggal would be running scared LOL
I would honestly love a D+ series about Thrawn (and his Imperial remnants) and Ezra being confronted by some kind of dangerous threat out in the unknown regions. (Perhaps the Grysk aliens, or something worse?)
Honestly, an encounter with the Starweirds would make a lot of sense
Isn’t there a cosmic “barrier” making navigation difficult and dangerous between known space and the unknown regions?
Yes there is one
basically a force barrier created by those force gods i forgot about, (they're related to abaloth in a big way, look abaloth up and read the origin story i guess.)
@@pmchad I meant an actual “barrier” that physically prevented navigation in space due to instability.
@@kirk93814 then no i do not think there is a « physical » barrier
Not to mention, considering the dire state the SW film franchise is in, you may need Abeloth to kill everyone, so that someone can go back in time and reboot, to give the galaxy a fighting chance. There's literally nowhere to go after Episode 9. A 'Days of Future Past' scenario might be the only thing that can save it now. I'd keep her in the cards if I were Disney. 😐
Wait wait wait so there’s space ghost out there that can wander into hyper space lanes and they just hang out there waiting for the poor sob to wander in
A1 WORK! Keep it up the outstanding work!
I’d love a series based around unknown regions, we get little teasers here and there
this is badass!
Man I love the lore of star wars legend. Thank you and please keep it up 💯💯
Evil space wraiths that screech like banshees and can pass through ship hulls in dead space?
Suddenly the Empire don't seem so scary....
The Myrkr lizards from Heir to the Empire also exist.
Chicks dig it when you explore unknown reaches
Some of these look like copies of Dune. Especially being able to see all possible outcomes. God Emperor of Dune especially.
Would like something like the randites to come into canon to populate the sequel or post sequel era. Could also mesh with Thrawn's goal.
But I just like the idea of invading dark side users that aren't sith, and the defenders must rediscover how to use the force as there are no more Jedi or sith in the galaxy.
They need to make a movie on Force wielders in the unknown regions
This looks like Star Wars meets Ghostbusters...and I love it! I know that Disney would never allow it but this definitely needs more recognition, like maybe it's own series of creepy stories. It could be similar to the Towani family's misadventures on Endor's forest moon, only darker and scarier.
Have you ever played Ewok Hunt? That shit is scarier than all this
I just thought of something, wouldn’t Tom Hiddleston be a good young palpatine?
There are references of Jedi in the Unknown Regions in one of the Yuuzhan Vong books when they were searching for information in some old books.
You may have fear the Vong, but you must never fear the Bong. The Bong frees the mind and brings a sense of peace and happiness to the person who wields it.
1:25: Even though that critter had a hundred eyes...it STILL couldn't see, that was too close to that black hole/The Maw. That's why, I KNOW, that its last words must have been something with going to the local eye guy...😜
👋😄 Hugs from Copenhagen, Denmark.
The concept art for the star weirds are freaky, man.
There are quite a few Star Trek/Wars crossovers involving conflicts between at least two of the major superpowers, but come to think of it, there are no stories about Starfleet exploring places that remain unexplored for very good reason.
Me:i think we may be lost.my buddies what makes you say that?me:sees a evil spooky floating out in deep space that glows up as I say back.it’s been an honor.
Exploring the unknown regions is like exploring the darkest depths of the ocean
Thanks for explaining this background
They need to make a movie or show involving a starweird would be absolutely terrifying 💀💀💀
The Vong were amazing creatures. I loved the books
Nothing is more terrifying then uncertainties and humans
The unknown regions are home to some truly intriguing civilizations untouched by the republic
I wonder how other galaxies look like in star was universe
There would be many good Star Wars stories that would be R rated. Darth Bane....
Anyone else think that the Chiss Acendency deserves an honorable mention?
There WAS no "asteroid worm" in A New Hope. That creature was a space slug, and was featured in The Empire Strikes Back.
Imagine a subnatica type games in all the unknown regions that'll be fantastic
Thanks for the video, I'll make sure I'll try to avoid going into the unknown regions!
3:45 what the hell kind of lightsaber is that? I've been looking for like 10 minutes now and I still can't find any pictures of a similar one
