It would be awesome for your poison-type gym in Resso City to have some kind of chicken mon. Ybor City, the former cigar manufacturing capital of the world, is known for having a wild population of hens and roosters roaming around the streets. Anything from like a cockatrice, to a cigar-smoke-belching Basan, or even just a regular chicken laying stink and smoke bombs all over the place! 😂

Id say in my experience there are two big things to keep in mind when drawing Pokemon, the first is when you do your line art take your time, it will look smoother and overall more official that way, and 2 id say don’t blend the borders of your shadow layer, as the Pokemon style tends to use a more textured transition between values. :)
One interesting thing about florida is that the more north you go the more south it gets. For instance firefly is the more common name in mid to South florida rather than lightning bug which is more common in north florida. I say this as a south floridian
I love all these bois also I have an idea for a “evil team Pokemon” I went to key west pretty recently in which there was so many roosters lizards and iguanas I imagined for my own Florida region (that failed) they would have a rivalry with the route one bird and steal their food i think this could be translated into your region into a dark type lizard and iguana line
I actually like Caracube's line looking kinda similar to Chewtle! Maybe they have an ancestor they branched off of. I'd imagine it'd be the same for Turtwig's line, and even Tortuga, but perhaps not the exact same ancestor the Chewtle and Carcube line branched off of, as their necks and body shapes are rather different.
I honestly wish that Turtustle was the 3rd stage of a Pseudo-Legendary. It LOOKS like a Dragon type be it's Ice and Fighting, it also LOOKS like it could be a Pseudo-Legendary, on too of that to date, only Metagross as a Steel and Psychic type, is the only Pseudo-Legendary that is not a Dragon type. So if you could make a middle stage, maybe make it Quadrupedal with a tail, head fin, and a spuke on the Ice-cube shell, that would be great!
I have an important question about Pokémon representing each type: Should there be 1 Pokémon to represent each type, what about dual-types? Won't it be pretty limited if there are many dual-types that represent each type?

The way you draw fakemon is really impressive, will there ever be a tutorial on how you make them?
