- In this video we will see how to make munthiri kothu in Tamil. முந்திரி கொத்து / Munthiri kothu recipe might seem very complicated but it is actually a very simple one. This is a very popular sweet recipe in south india distributed during the festival season. When I was very young I remember my grand mother making this traditional sweet and I used to distribute it to our neighbors. But nowadays many have forgotten this recipe and are now buying it from shops.

Emma this s a Kerala dish, Iam 60 years old & a malayali Muslim , now Iam settled in Tiruchy. My mother & Grandma s born &^ brought up from Kerala. They made like the same MUNDRIK KOTHU and also many verities of snaks and they kept it in a pot, for us, " when I was like 10 Years old. But in all of that my favorite was The Munthrik kothu .
