Awesome video! Being a boat fisherman for years and seeing you kayak guys scooting along I can now see why you guys do it from a kayak. I'm now thinking about investing in a kayak. Thanks for the video it is inspiring!
Great video Jun. One critique though, you HAVE to stop thumbing the spool. You have a quality reel there, with a fantastic drag system, you need to let the drag do what it is supposed to do. Set it before you fish, and don't touch it again.
Buddy I am smashing the sub button. That was so much fun to watch. Your excitement is contagious. Now I have to see where you’re at. I’m hoping in the NW.
You know it's exciting when I'm sitting in my den cheering you on!!!! My fishing partner and I are taking the old boat out for a test run tomorrow at the lake and if all goes well we will be out next Tuesday giving it the ocean test. We may try for salmon but we are set up for Ling cod and rock fish. After that we will try to target the salmon. What happened to your motor?? Gene
Good jobs Brother Jun That is Absolutely Beautiful Fish i Very Enjoy Watching Your Fishing Channel You Are Very Great Person And You Are Respect One And Another i'm Your RUclips Fans Love it i'm From Vancouver British Columbia Canada 😎😚👍👍👌👏👏
Congrats June! When putting your motor with strong winds/current it tends to overheat and shut off, my motorguide does it too, especially if its hot out. Not sure if its the battery or connection that could be the issue too. What a hog of a King, welcome to the 30lb club! Still have yet to get mine on the GL, so far just a couple outings with a 20lber and in the teens.
Thanks bro! My arm was sore the next day lol my anxiety level was raising like rocket, thinking, if I loose this fish with that amount of time invested, I would not forgive myself.
Congratulations! I'm not saying this to ruin the moment but you really need to net your own fish. It's such a sense of accomplishment in a kayak when you net a king salmon that big. It's not to diminish in any way what you accomplished but over 50% of fish this size get lost at the boat or kayak I should say. I stumbled onto your video as I caught a 30.49 lb king salmon in my kayak last night off of Port Washington Wisconsin. You did everything right and you would have been able to net that fish yourself.
Nice job!!! I know you wanted to tire him out, but I think when he's just towing behind the boat it's actually giving the fish a chance to replenish it's energy. 45 minutes is a long time, fortunately it didn't come undone!! Nice video work as well!!!
We need to keep the boat moving forward, once you turn around you’ll get a slack in your line and big chances loosing the fish. The fish could go around the boat or can go under the boat
@@MoreThanFishing Had my PB on and I couldn't get it in myself because I didn't shorten the leader. It was a hard learned lesson to see that 30 pound fish get away. Now I put a short 1ft leader in front of the flasher or 2 ft for a dodger and then 3 ft or less from the flasher to the anchovy.
Excellent fish and congrats. Food for thought pair that lexa 400 with a softer slow action rod when trolling. Could use that stick for albacore. Get some bend. However, if you had a salmon rod the drama may not be as exciting. Nice fish. Congrats.
Man watching you two land that fish had me so stressed out lol. Congrats! That's a beautiful fish. Hoping to get one from the bank in Sac tomorrow morning
i just spent $210 for 8 lbs of king salmon steaks with skin and bones from alaska.. and that was the best price i could find on the net... nice fish .. wish i lived up there
You gave a lot of us serious anxiety with that first fish, bro! Fought it for so long, then pulled it out of the net without first putting it on the stringer. Also, please put your motor remote around your neck. That way, you'll never sit on it or lose it in the water. Glad you caught those fish.
Great fish. But I am not going out in a kayak on the ocean. That's a skill in itself. I'm going to need a 'bigger boat' to get me out there. Be safe. Awesome catch!
Was your helping compadres SCZ surf caster or Fish Chronicles? Huge catches JUN! but as most fishers know present a bait in water the rest is "chance /luck"?
So glad we got him in the net 😅
Thanks for helping bro, I don’t think I would land it without you! Thanks
Fisherman chronicles u deserve a sub 👍👍👍 good job helping net that hog .
i got stung by a ray lmfao
that was all you bro
Sup Elon this is Gordon from hmb yesterday. You weren’t kidding about this hog, nice net job brotha!
Nice one, Jun! I always love watching you fish, your attitude is priceless.

very pertinent advice I'll add to that you have to keep the rod tip UP
Jun is the best to watch catch a fish. Way to go man that's a nice salmon!!
I've been waiting for this!!!
Stressful video 😂

Nice job being patient.
Fish of a lifetime! Congrats Jun 🤯 🎉 🐟
Nope. As a kayaker he knows the 30-pounder is the fish of the lifetime that he's chasing.
Buddy I am smashing the sub button. That was so much fun to watch. Your excitement is contagious. Now I have to see where you’re at. I’m hoping in the NW.
Wow, you captured it all and made me feel like i was there! Great fight, Jun!

Fantastic !! Your face says it all ! Just remember, the longer you play them the larger the hole gets where the hook is.

Congrats!! And great teamwork!
Very fun to watch. Exciting and stressful at the same time😂🤣
Awesome limit😉
Great Fight! I was sad you lost the first one but you came back with limits. 🙌🏼🙌🏼 good to see the teamwork with Fisherman’s Chronicles
Edmonds Marina has some real nice fish if you look hard enough. Pb is 15lbs. Hope I can catch a monster like that next time I go

“This isn’t fun anymore” lol
Nice fish jun. Congrats!
We've all been there before!
Thanks bro! My arm was sore the next day lol my anxiety level was raising like rocket, thinking, if I loose this fish with that amount of time invested, I would not forgive myself.
Heck of a good day on the water boys!

what an exciting fishing adventure. thoroughly enjoyed it
Nice job what a great fish!😁🐟
Congrats Kuya!! Almost had 2 monsters!!!
Dang how exciting, great to see you in rockaway last Sunday
🔥🔥🔥🔥 congrats man!
Are those denim rain pants lol? If so I want some!
Looks super fun out there. Congratulations brother! 😉
Is it possible to turn the boat around so you can face the fish for an easier landing?
We need to keep the boat moving forward, once you turn around you’ll get a slack in your line and big chances loosing the fish. The fish could go around the boat or can go under the boat
Good Job Dude!
Good job Jun nice fish 👍🏽🤙🏽
Take two feet off that leader to the anchovy and it will allow you to land much easier.
I thought so too! Thanks for watching!

Which marina did you launch from?
Jun, I forgot to ask, where did you guys launch out from?
HMB
Great fight Jun 👍👍
is that daiwa 400 lefty? Thanks
It’s Daiwa Lexa 300 left
Very nice limit Jun
Good job man. 👏.
Great catch! could you tell me why you use a left handed conventional reel, being that your righthanded?? Using your power hand would help immensly..
What kinda rod and reel do u have?
Sauve sir! Salmon sinigang ftw! Just started watching your vids! new subscriber here! Hope you catch a s*** ton more of fish in the future!
Thank you 🙏
Congratulations
Great video brother!! May I ask where you are fishing?? Brett
Do you think it is possible to catch salmon off the jetty there?
Nice work jun
Congratulations! How do I get ahold of you so we can link up and take our kayaks out ? I’m ready to go
Very nice! Great job out there
Nice to see you that morning in HMB parking lot
I'm going to buy that same kayak. Are you happy with it? I remember the days of 20 lb. salmon in CA. Great vid!
i just spent $210 for 8 lbs of king salmon steaks with skin and bones from alaska.. and that was the best price i could find on the net... nice fish .. wish i lived up there

Bodega bay or half moon bay???
Great fish. But I am not going out in a kayak on the ocean. That's a skill in itself. I'm going to need a 'bigger boat' to get me out there. Be safe. Awesome catch!
Where you fishing at man great video?
Followed and subscribed... man I need a kayak..here I thought you needed a boat and down riggers to catch a salmon... nice fish ❤
Nice Jun...
Congratulations on big salmon
Where did you guys launch from?
If it wasn't for your friend there, I don't know how you would net it. It's a good one.
I don’t know either 😂

Thank you for a good video. What’s the brand of the flasher
Where is this?
Good job fellas

Was your helping compadres SCZ surf caster or Fish Chronicles? Huge catches JUN! but as most fishers know present a bait in water the rest is "chance /luck"?
