I paid a service for two years and they tore up my yard. I have narrow gates (36") so he was using a professional stand up mower. It left bad ruts from his tires and when he did the "J" turns he spun out the grass. Also he used a string trimmer to edge and trim and I had bare dirt 6" wide around everything and he dug a 3" ditch along the hard surfaces. I went back to doing it myself and it is back to the way it should be.

Got a landscaping LLC and I can recall doing a $280 mow in the morning, 150 mow by 3pm, then a 250 mow by 6, so from 9 to 6 I made $600 mowing by myself, but I’d rather do land clearing and grading with my Bobcat, pays more, I use a gravely zt hd 60 and your echo blower and weed eater, not needed but they are great machines for larger plots

@@TheLawnWhisperer It really is though. I've run a landscaping business for like 7 years and my father did for 30 years. Horizontal stripes are better because you can't see any imperfections in the lines from the street, they will look perfect even if they aren't perfectly straight. Increased curb appeal is literally our business.

@@rdcruick in my opinion stripes that people can see when driving by from different angles look better and increase curb appeal. To each their own

What a waste of space, all that land with nothing but extremely short grass, what's the point? I also don't see the point of mowing these lawns, you cut off a few centimetres!

Man, you are a negative nelly. The money you have is a direct result of the decisions you have made. Sounds like you don't have much happiness in your life. Some people need to fall into depths before they decide to change.
