Thanks for the video! This tutorial made me realize that disassembly was not as complex as it looked (as in, a lot less stuff to remove) to get at the RAM, and now I'm going in at tearing down a PC without doing it blindly as I did before (with expectedly bad results). However, I have the Creator Edition (Type 90R7), which lacks a disk drive. The other problem is the front bezel, which is much larger, and features a second extension to fit the larger bezel (which snaps into the main case). Hopefully, the front will come off similarly, and the snap-in extension won't complicate matters too much.
Also, I was able to find what I needed to change from an HDD to an SSD, which I'll likely do later.

Thank you very much for the video! I was just wondering, I do want to install a small RX 6500xt on the PCIe slot. However, like you mentioned, I'm not really sure how to power something like that, as there is no additional 6 pin provided. Is there any way to work around this? Thank you very much :)

Not sure. Why would you do that?
The case is just for looks and that stuff but the bios is more important because i want to make sure my ram is running at maximum speed and efficiency

Thanks for this very informative video. I have an Ideacenter5 Gaming Desktop Model 17IAB7 Product number:90T00008US with 1tb ssd and 2tb hdd. Is it possible to add another ssd ? I have a 1tb PCIe-NVMe that I could use. If it is possible to add a 2nd SSD, where would I add it?
You'll have to see if there's another slot.
Is it possible to remove the optical drive and install a 2.5 SSD or 2.5 HDD using the sata and power cable that was utilised on the optical drive. Can you have this desktop tower horizontal on a desk or must it be Vertical and standing?

Are the cpu and gpu intergrated? and is the power supply not changable because i use this computer mostly for coding and i wanna try vr coding but it cant run oculus desktop app
Didn't check under the heatsink, not sure. You could always add a gpu
@@ItsBinhRepaired yea but what about the power supply it only packs 230-240 watts and most cards need atleast 100-200 watts i am currently looking at the rx 6500 xt for the replacement but ive read on the lenovo document that the cpu (that i currently have) only supports amd radeon. can i still put in the rx 6500 xt?

Basically any video card that can fit in there, you'll have to measure and it can't use external power unless you have a way to power it with an external adapter.
@@ItsBinhRepaired thanks i bought a "ZOTAC GAMING GeForce GTX 1650 OC 4GB GDDR6 128-bit Gaming Graphics Card, Super Compact, ZT-T16520F-10L" seems like it will fit. i made the mistake of buying a bare bones Lenovo then decided to game with it lol.

I have a lenovo prebuilt ideacentre c5 14imb05 pc with a rtx 2060 and a 380W Fixed 92% 100-240V, 50-60Hz. Could i put a rtx 3060 in this with that psu i mentioned or would i also need a higher watt psu.(this is considering of course if I even could replace the gpu and psu in this . Thank you for any info or advice.
How are you running the first card with only 380W?
I don't think that's enough even for that one.
It runs fine ive had no problems. I have it little over a year now and no issues. I play warzone, tarkov,god of war and they all run well at high settings on 1080. It doesn't overheat ,ive seen 72 degrees as highest temp. I don't know much about specifics if there is something else i should check besides those i described above. Thank you

The pci slot below the gpu, but if you have a big gpu, need to use a usb one instead.

The way to remove them is really effed up cos it requires brute power. You think you're going to break your motherboard getting it off it sucks
