Fucking shame on you Dan it's the legend and the band that changed the course of rock and roll my arms are covered in kurt tattoos I'm disgusted Dan knows fuck all about music
MUSE didn't get cut off, they had a technical meltdown twice, according to the drummer. After their first try they tried a second time to play KoC, which also failed. After this second failure, a few minutes passed, then band got the approval to play a final song, which was spontaneous SHOWBIZ! ONLY IF YOU GUYS WAITED
Honestly just Rob saying "Well done for that Jake, I know that was a big job" is something that I love about this group because they genuinely appreciate the work they all do for eachother and give credit to eachother where credit is due. And the sense of happiness you get after knowing you've done a good job for your friends is a great feeling :) Raz needs more credit tbh because driving for huge distances is so fatiguing it can knock your energy for days - so the fact that he just gets out after those drives and carries on being a top-teir group member is admirable 👏 I'd have to decompress and nap for like the next 8 hours lol
wouldn't it be amazing if Bruce Springsteen plays at Glasto. "Hungry, hungry heart...." Blondie & Pretenders are frequent performers, would be nice to see some other legends in new.
Went here as my 1st festival ever. I'm 19 and decided to do this solo cause the amount of artists that I wanted to see there was just absolutely crazy and I had an absolute blast. It's absolutely awesome to watch this video to see you guys' experiences especially as I've been a fan of the channel for a while. Much love from all the way up north in the Netherlands
Usually if you are staying in Folkestone it's because of an early departure on the tunnel next day. For approx £50 a room I'd say it's just fine for a place to put your head down for the night. The 'if the phoenix club did a hotel' thing is entirely accurate though 😅
@lukemullet yeah I wouldn't exactly want to live in its shadow. Its a monster. For a cheap place to get your head down on the way to a festival though, its ideal.
Sunday was worth sticking around for. I can't believe you guys didn't see Fred Again in the barn, that was a highlight for me. Looks like you had an awesome time tho. I must have been 10m away from you at the 1975, see you next year!
Brave going for the oysters! Loved the festival, definitely will go again. Hive campsite was well equipped and better organised, although after party had to much EDM! Sunday was decent also, AM were better than the glasto set. Fred again in the barn looked great, was packed outside.
favourite video of the year so far lads, liked the ticket/travel ticklist element at the start something and makes it individual, fresh and stand out when you're posting every week, keep up the good work boys X
The noise laws in Belgium (and Holland) are very strict. If they play loud music a minute after a certain time, the festival organisers could lose their licence permanently.
Class video as always fellas! Really glad y'all got to see some of PUP's set. They're a band I've chased up and down the east coast of the states, consistently a high energy and sweaty set. Cheers!
I saw Muse at Shaky Knees in May and they threw an amazing show! I freaked out when they played Knights of Cydonia. It was my second time seeing them and they didn’t disappoint.
love the vids!! next time you come to Rock Werchter book the camping really in advance, if you stay at the hive camping there is a big afterparty over there and it is really nice!!
Saw RHCP in London last year and loved it, personally. Have heard plenty of horror stories about them though - they seem to decide when to turn up and when to be nobheads!
Another great vid lads! Glad to see Rock Werchter finally get the TPD treatment. Went there on Sunday. QOTSA, Lil Nas X and Nova twins were mint. Artic Monkeys were a bit underwhelming though.
Guessing they're not a big fan of QOTSA, they've been to a few festivals with QOTSA on there and never seen them in the videos. I was at Wercher myself and QOTSA was the best act of the festival imo!
@@Boef729seeing muse get cut off and them complaining that they didn't just play on and pay the fine flashed me back to seeing qotsa in margate recently, where they came on late and josh homme just said when they got up to curfew time 'what's the fine for this? ten thousand dollars? if it's ten thousand dollars let's fucking do it', then played like 5+ songs past the scheduled end by the last one (song for the dead, obviously), the venue had literally cut off their amps and mic, but they played the entire song without them before josh just catapulted into the drum kit couldn't have asked for a more perfect gig from one of my favourite bands, have no idea how they could skip out on seeing them
Smashed it lads. The suspense was killing me in a good way. Heard loads about this fest over the years am gonna have to give it a bash now. I am on the patreon now and this may just be me fave new channel. Oooooooooosh!
I love how the one guy was handing out assignments 😂! Thank you for this video. I’m in Washington, DC (USA) and it’s 5 in the morning here and I just bought a Rock Werchter 24 ticket 🎟️ and am now RIDICULOUSLY excited! It will be my first time traveling internationally for a music festival and I’m ready for this incredible adventure. This video spoke to my soul! PS- I really appreciated all the tips in this video!
Another great vid - you lads should wear earplugs or some in-ear monitors; the number of gigs and festivals you do, deafness & tinnitus will happen eventually - hate to break it to you! You can get some really decent ones now, though, where the music still sounds loud & great; they just cut out the frequencies that damage your hearing.
😂 "knock, knock, knocking on heavens door" 😂 another funny as fuck video, I always look forward to another TPD TV video as it's always entertaining... Peace & Love
I absolutely loved being there. Still so many people had to complain cause of the limited capacity, which will probably lead to it not being there next year. Experiencing shows there was just insane though
A few years ago I went to snowbombing festival in Austria, a 24hr road trip, my 2 best mates dropped out the day before so I did it with their other friend a girl I had never met, we had a nail in her tyre before we even got out of Leeds nowhere open to get it fixed, when we got off the ferry in Dover both are phones were not working no signal no data and no map, it's was 2am no street light and neither of us had drove on the wrong side of the road before, her head nearly feel off into tears, I just said dont panic I no the way (not a clue at all) we drove 24hrs with no sleep in 3hr shifts we only took 2 wrong turns crossing 4 countries! Awesome video, loved it. Also loved the positive words you had for the festival, it's a piece of our culture at this point so it makes me happy that you guys liked it. We have loads of other great festivals that you'd enjoy, Pukkelpop, Dour, Les Ardentes, Tomorrowland of course but that's a bit different. Anyway, up the lads
Absolutely brilliant stuff again lads, always top notch entertainment and superb editing. Happy u guys are finally starting to get the credit u absolutely deserve. Next stop, 200k ❤
You Guys where literally camping a few meters from us, but i only met you guys on youre last day. That was a shame. But Great video AGAIN! Thx a lot see you Guys next Year on the hive!

Insane to see you come here cause I live down the street from the festival and love your guys vids!!!
This was the first festival I ever went to and it was amazing! This was back in 2006/07 metallica, faithless, pearl Jam and Muse headlined each night, class.
