Definitely been a silent viewer over the last 4 years but something about the foo fighters set here was just eye opening, the vulnerability and raw emotion you guys show is so real and moving. A really real representation for men everywhere, don’t change and never stop doing this.
Just got to the Foos. Man.. That got me a bit.. My buddy was with Taylor literally the night/day before he passed away. He's done the sound for The Pretenders for years. They did a show with the Foos. Taylor was proudly telling my buddy about how, he was the one who convinced Chrissie Hynde, to get rid of the perspex sound shields from infront of the drums. 'You've got someone like that behind the kit, don't hide em away, you've gotta unleash the f'ing beast!!'. We were so shocked by the news. Devastating. It's a small story, but, to me, it speaks to who Taylor was. Just a genuinely lovely bloke who absolutely adored drums, music and rock and roll. ❤️🙏
Rock im Park was my first festival I've visited almost 20 years ago as a teenager. We had no clue how to prepare a festival trip, carried way too much beer and not enough food during a crazy long train trip through half of the country that started after we finished school on Friday. The line-up was crazy: slayer, motley crue, iron maiden, slipknot, chemical brothers, billy idol, marilyn manson, sonic youth, in flames, lamb of god, weezer, maroon 5 (??!!), incubus, r.e.m., green day, papa roach, john legend (?!) and many more. For breakfast we had sangria with cereals. Memories :)
What a video. To see so much raw emotion & to see a group of friends have the time of their lives is incredible. The work you all put in to go to festival after festival is crazy. You all deserve the best, including everyone else in the videos. Would love to see you back there next year with the others 💕

The camping area opens day before. It is part of every Festival experience to be black out drunk on a Wednesday or Thursday and take a stroll throug the camping area on 4 a.m. and talk to random people...

Epic festival. I think you missed out on seeing BMTH however. I was exhausted too, but stayed for them and it was prob the best set of the weekend beside foo and limo bizkit craziness. Crowd was insane even at 2am on last day of fest

I went to Rock im Park on the saturday (the Lineup was like the sunday at RaR) I saw maggie lindeman, the warning, three days grace, turnstile, machine gun kelly and archetects It was great. From what I‘ve heard is that RiP is a bit more comfortable which means that there are more trees and the ways are shorter

Every time I've seen the Foo Fighters Live I cry my heart out. They have been the one band that has been with me through most of my life since. I was a teenager when Dave released the first album. It was the one band I introduced to my wife when we started dating. I was the first show we went to when we moved away to a different country. Foo fighters is definitely the soundtrack of my life. I don't know what I am gonna do when I see them live after Taylor's death, but I better take a fucking bunch of tissue with me.

Prepare for lots of hill walking as the racing track is layed down on hills and such and good luck walking up and down towards yer tents. But Oh my god what a festival!! One of them biggest on the mainland, enjoy your time there SanPelli crew. It is one of the best in Europe. Luf this!

Awesome vid lads, looked like a sick time! Foo Fighters gigs are always a bit special.
I went to Rock Im Park which was my first festival at all and the first time seeing the Foo's, definitelly the most emotional and probably best concert I've ever attended. Couldn't help but to shed a few tears, even watching this video.
Also, Bring Me The Horizon, Limp Bizkit, Tenacious D & Steel Panther were incredible
