I love watching all you TPD guys but you four have a special chemistry. The ideal blend of personalities for a festival. Well done. Terrific video. Roll on Boomtown.
As someone that designs for DJs and events like this I have to say, well done for giving it a go as most would turn their noses up (probably a pun there) haha. I'd of loved to have gone this year so I'm super jealous. I love all kinds of music so would love to see more bands and musicians from your neck of the woods try some visuals that engage the crowd like the eric prydz show. Nowadays it's almost impossible to get tickets. I'm 38 and a dad of a 4 years old now. I have to say I enjoy getting comfy in the couch in the evening, lol. Awww this has been my favorite video thus far. Being an EDM festival lover, it was fun to watch you guys get down and a bit turnt at Tomorrowland. If you ever come back to the states I know of a place that might blow your mind. ❤🎉
also 47:00 this answer comes with knowledge of the different varieties of music in the scene, it's hard to show up to the ultimate edm festival for the first time and be impressed right off the bat. You need to be in with the culture, just like jam bands, rock and roll etc
I've been going to EDM festivals for 20 years all around the US, primarily in Los Angeles. You guys SOLD me for 2024. Awesome video, I felt like I was with you guys. Y'all genuinely enjoyed it, I love the content, too! Cheers!
The crowds at this festival look 100 times better than nearly all the previous "proper" music festival vids you have done. Maybe it wasnt listening to the 1975 for 89 times in a row! Seriously though, amazing to step out of your comfort zone, most wouldnt do it the otherway round and you proper went for it. Kudos!
Thanks for this video I am a massive rock and metal fan and have always wanted to go here on the basis it looks insane even though I know the music isn’t my style. This video has definitely persuaded my mind to go. Just looks such a good festival
That XFC bit was so so good! Cheers for making us wait for it! 😂 One of the funniest videos yet! Love seeing you try new experiences even if its not exactly for you and showing fun is where you make it!
I'm just mindblown, this video is a masterpiece. You guys can reach global. Keep doing it. 1h and something of a well made video and properly delivered. Whoever made this is really good producer/editor.....
Alot of people would say the same about rock as you say about 'EDM' (dance music). There are many genres and spectrums, Tomorrowland is known for more big room dance music and probably tailors to a lot of mainstream listeners with catch all music
Agree. I’m an electronic music fan, i would never used the term EDM - that to me is commercial cheesy white like Steve Aoki. These guys should check out the likes of Jon Hopkins
I was so fucking excited when I saw the teasers for this on insta (great job with that branded stuff whoever does it!!!) after binging your vids for the past month or so and this has got to be my favourite video so far, LOVED IT. I've wanted to go for years and this has solidified it for me being a bucket list trip. Smashing it guys! (Jake falling in the trench also fully fucking killed me)
The detail that goes into the design and build of that festival is stunning. Don't think I'd be able to stand all the dance music myself, but it's clearly a vibe
I just love you, total legends! Had a really awful week but you have made me smile. The saying is you never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory, so when you are all old like me all yours will be on film to visit again & you are going to love it as much as we do ❤
You guys are awesome!! Me and my wife binged watched 10 hours of you guys yesterday. This video is definitely our favourite.. We are huge techno fans... If you guys would have heard boris brejcha at tomorrowland you would have been blown away
Yessss! I went 2012 and 2014 aswel. 2012 was the one to be at after that official 2011 aftermovie came out and that avicci song took over the world the hype was real!!! Edm was actually good back then it was a very time and a place thing for me but what a time and what a place ❤
2013 armin set after flying on a helicopter from the Netherlands straight after his wife gave birth + the heaviest rain of all time. No amount of stars will align again for a show like they did that day.
Zoe! ❤ Great video guys. I totally get that this music isn’t for everyone, but it gives me energy like nothing else. I’ve done Creamfields and I’m doing Wearefvstvl this year, both “sober”. Maybe have 2-3 beers in the day but that’s about it. I like to do slam dunk, download and one dance festival every year.
Sick video as always... bumped into rob whilst out on the piss in leeds this weekend, popped over to say aup and i was greeted by a super down to earth, normal, appreciate and aound bloke. You deserve Ll the success you get lad, hars off to ya bud. Hopefully catch you at we out here, end of the road or primavera weekender this year!
Always find it strange that people who primarily like rock, Indy and metal music really struggle to appreciate dance music. In fact they tend to mock it, but those of us who primarily listen to dance music also get right behind rock, Indy and metal
cos people get weird about things not having lyrics and don’t get how fun just grooving is. Also the whole “it all sounds the same argument”, even though most indie bands of the last 10 years sound very similar
It depends some people only really like 1 music genre while others like a bit of everything. Me personally I like metal, dnb, house, hardstyle, grime, all sorts. A lot of my mates will also listen to rock, metal and stuff like that and then listen to edm, dnb, house etc. All those music genres are usually quite high energy/fast paced which is why I think I like both metal and dnb cos they're both quite heavy and get the crowd moving. There are some music genres I don't really vibe with tho, mostly stuff that's more slow I just kinda fall asleep lol, but I wouldn't hate on anyone for liking something more slow/chill as I find it more interesting if people have different tastes, if everyone enjoyed the same thing the world would be very boring.
@@mrwals6361 I think it's because rock songs that sound the same are structurally more interesting than EDM that sounds the same, usually at least. Like, intro-verse-prechorus-chorus-hook-verse-chorus-bridge/break/solo-chorus-outro and any combination of these various orders. The presence of lyrics played around with the structures feels better to listen to sonically because the variance is overt and feels more artistic and meaningful despite what it may have been designed to sound like. EDM song structures when they follow this don't sound that different from each because rather than having the verses with lyrics being the differentiation between verse 1-2, they just add more backing synths in time with the bpm which doesn't always allow you appreciate the change, especially when the point is for your edm song to have artistic merit and not just be noise. It's very much the kind of music that suffers artistically when live due to the lack of proper playback mediums, you would appreciate the artistry more when you can hear every synth as intended and not as just mindless dance music.
@@BigSauceI think what you described is true for some songs and certainly there is boring shitty dance music out there which is repetitive. However there are many songs and producers which have a lot of variation in their music. Artists like Floating Points and Four Tet are probably some of the best examples of this. However I massively disagree with your point that it suffers live, on a good sound system where you can appreciate the bass and nuances of the song properly it is second to none. I just don’t understand how people can serious say that every song sounds the same (in this video apparently regardless of genre) whilst simultaneously listening to the 1975😂.
I've been searching for a general review of Tomorrowland and you guys have just smashed it. The music is not for everyone but like you found out it's the experience of the whole festival and the effort they put into making it what it is. Thanks for sharing 👍
I had no intention of watching this entire video but “Tomorrowland” and “first time” caught my eye as I’ve always wanted to go. I’ve been into finding new music since I first heard The Beatles on Ed Sullivan six decades ago. I only got into EDM about 5 years ago, have only been to a few small dj shows in my towns but no fests and Tomorrowland would be my choice if I could only go to one. Surely there are old people there but I don’t care if I was the only one. Seeing all those people behind you singing along with Numb made my heart very happy (and sad). The four of you did a great job - it’s why I kept watching - your chemistry is great and you each look fab on camera. Next time do it with some pharmaceuticals! Maybe yeah, or no, regardless - good on ya for giving it an open-hearted whirl.
I was sitting watching the live stream for the last two weeks thinking “TPD would love this festival I know it” Then I open my RUclips and see this. What a blessing.
you probably could, if you went with someone who knew what they were doing. There's a lot of bad music at festivals like this. If you don't know where the good acts are, it would be torture.
Hahaha too good boys!! So great to see this again after I went for the first time as well this year with my younger brother (as a Belgian myself living 15km's from Tomorrowland). Best day! Glad you guys enjoyed yourselves!! Cheers
Lads it’s good to see a dance festival I agree purely on the beer that’s a grueller but a spectacular festival none the less , great effort to see you branching out to different genres 🤣🧨🤙🏼🫡😀👍🏽
That was a blast, im the same im not a EDM fan at all as varls will vouch. Did a great thing still going and showing the real deal of a festival that isnt for you, There was big energy regardless. Love the commentary overlay at the end gives it a good gisign off 👍
even if you dont like edm music, the positivity and the vibes of the music can carry you. music aside it is the greatest festival on the planet in terms of operation, hospitality and customer experience. nothing else in the world puts as much effort in to make sure you the goer has everything he needs to have a good time
This is the video that brought me to TPD TV! Been going to Tomorrowland since 2014 myself. Very fun to see some "TML virgings" doin it all. Glad you liked it, despite the music ;) I've now watched basically every video of yours back to the beginning of 2022. Great channel! Keep going, please! Hope to run into to at Tomorrowland this year ;)
that was my 4th time at tomorrowland, think it’s the best one they’ve ever done. having lost interest in edm though I’ve also realised the importance of being hammered at all times
@@TPD you should try one with more underground music. It's not nearly as monotonous. Not as good of production (cause nowhere is). But still real good stellar vibes.
"I don't understand how can't you enjoy MUSE more" oh man that got me laughing so bad, of all things, MUSE?? 😂😂 Dance Music is something really special, the culture, the origins, the meaning of it all - escaping from the ugly reality, connecting with people, enjoying the moment, being yourself beyond any judgment, I really love it. I understand people that don't enjoy it, or simply "don't get it" just blinded by ignorance, but there's something almost primal in losing yourself to the beats and sounds, it goes beyond the language barrier and we as humans do it since the cavetime, the message is just dance, have a good time and enjoy the journey. Anyways, thank you guys for being open minded about it and for having fun the way you could. If I have only one advice tho (not for you guys cause I think you wont be back for next year edition lol) is: alcohol makes you confuse and disconnected, if you want to get high in these kind of events, try something that put you in the moment, that makes your feelings and sensibility flourish (but in moderation, of course). Being hammered is something that don't match with dance music and, let's be honest, just makes you lazy and trash your body 🤫
You‘re absolutely right about the dance music culture and described it very well! But i think Tomorrowland is the absolut wrong place to experience this culture. the stages look amazing and the light shows are crazy no doubt, but it has nothing to do with the actual dance scene. i bet these guys would have a way better experience on a smaller, non-commercial techno/house/psy festival
@@noisy8937 You're absolutely right! But at the same time I think that going to smaller events or clubs without the cultural notion behind it might be "too raw" for some.. unfortunetely festivals like tomorrowland gets outsiders by the "magic", the structure, and through that people can dive more deeper if they felt connected in any way. It's like starting listening to EDM Radio Bangers, and then feeling that there's more to it and discovering all the infinite genres and possibilities in electronic and dance music
I also thought they were way too drunk. Just kind of makes it hard to stay for/experience the full journey, dance is a marathon not a sprint. You do a lot of cardio and its not fun doing cardio drunk 😂 they probably would have had a better time just drinking a few red bulls and letting the music and production do the work. I also think they should have put in more effort to learn to distinguish and subsequently evaluate the different genres of dance. That said I think it's great they went. They looked like they had fun. Maybe they will get an itch for another high energy experience and will go again sometime!
This video has had me gripped 😊 me and my boyfriend watched the live streams as much as we could that weekend. We really want to go to Tomorrowland!!! Seeing kid cudi come out blew my mind. The repeating songs are some kind of theme/challange every year. And the djs do their own mix of these songs. I think that's how you can vote for best dj of the years or something. But Very fun video guys, you can feel the vibe through the video😄
It looks like the best layout of a festival that I have ever seen. Several bars with seating, many dance floors and no mud and beer sold in glass. Clean showers and toilets.

I think both worlds can swap some notes!! At the end of the day it's all about creating an experience through the music, make you feel something. Glad you enjoyed it in the end!
The boys just hanging out at my bucket list festival as a casual weekend thing 😂
One of my fave TPD vlogs ever. A masterclass in festival vlogging 🙌🏻 loved seeing you all try something new that’s not necessarily your scene
Sick to see you guys watching Average rob, he's one of Belgiums greatest youtubers and i'd love to see a collab between you guys one day, would be insane
sickest colab of the century for sure
ZAaddyyy
Dude Arno would absolutely rock in one of these vids
@@nendemenne6686 he would!!
seems like a top guy!!
Did I actually watch a video of 1 hour and 15 minutes in it's entirety? Yes I did! Very cool to experience the festival at home with you guys. The last time I went was in 2017. Before that it was 2010. Now I'm just too old for it. I can't keep up anymore.
Very good rundown of what TML is. Nice vid!
You're not too old, get the ticket! 2023 was my first time to Tomorrowland, and I was 50. Going again for a 3rd time in 2025!
Get the ticket if you can ❤
Oh, and I didn't even realize it was an hour until I read your comment 😂🤦♀️
@@Jussayinisall hehe. I went like 3 or 4 times between 2006 and 2010. Then the last time in 2017 I think it has gotten too big for me. Too many people to be honest. Hehe. Back in the day you could get your ticket the weekend before the festival. In a record shop. "6 combi tickets for Tomorrowland please" ...
2017 was because I won 2 free tickets. Nowadays it's almost impossible to get tickets.
I'm 38 and a dad of a 4 years old now. I have to say I enjoy getting comfy in the couch in the evening, lol.
But I still do enjoy the music, lichtshows and the theming
@@IanDeVos this year was waaaaaayyyy too many people for the 20th. I'm hoping next year is back to what '23 had. I hope the powers that be at Tomorrowland have seen social media relaying the message that there were too many people. I was actually going to visit family this year in lieu of the festival but....🤦♀️ was able to get one of the hardest accomodations for 1p and couldn't pass it up.
I laughed so hard at some of the editing of this video. The party blowers 🎉 during the opening ceremony had me in stitches 🤣🤣
Awww this has been my favorite video thus far. Being an EDM festival lover, it was fun to watch you guys get down and a bit turnt at Tomorrowland. If you ever come back to the states I know of a place that might blow your mind. ❤🎉
tpdtv takes lost lands? edclv perhaps?
@kourtneyad or at NLQP?? Oh my what time they might have.
I got a free home base for ya next summer. In zee heart of America. One festie crew to another.
also 47:00 this answer comes with knowledge of the different varieties of music in the scene, it's hard to show up to the ultimate edm festival for the first time and be impressed right off the bat. You need to be in with the culture, just like jam bands, rock and roll etc
Sensitive content warnings? Multi-camera angles? TPD have become far too professional ;) Excellent work guys, keep it up!
hahaha nowt 2 iphones cant achieve!
I’m so glad you guys really went for it with the outfits too, truly experienced the fest as it should be!
Those rave outfits and the Edm dances was funny af.
I didn’t think you boys would actually walk about like that! 💀
I've been going to EDM festivals for 20 years all around the US, primarily in Los Angeles. You guys SOLD me for 2024. Awesome video, I felt like I was with you guys. Y'all genuinely enjoyed it, I love the content, too! Cheers!
Great video, we had a good laugh knocking around with you for a couple of hours. Keep doing what you do.
Yoooo I’m so glad you enjoyed/ danced to my set in the bar! What a pleasant coincidence 🤩🎉
Kudos!
didnt saw the other videos, but how bad have these crowd to be? tomorrowland crowd looks awful compared to almost any edm festival
Thanks for this video I am a massive rock and metal fan and have always wanted to go here on the basis it looks insane even though I know the music isn’t my style. This video has definitely persuaded my mind to go. Just looks such a good festival
Thank you for being open minded ❤
Sensitive
Absolutely , I don't like the blanket term "EDM", it's dance music , and it's countless variations. There's so much variety , something for everyone.
@@stooooogs8763pretty fair comment tbh
totally agree, i dig both, and bands like pendulum and dare i say the prodigy help bridge the gap pretty bloody well
Agree. I’m an electronic music fan, i would never used the term EDM - that to me is commercial cheesy white like Steve Aoki. These guys should check out the likes of Jon Hopkins
I am never eating food while I watch your videos and the ONE time I happened to be you gave me a warning and I really appreciated it so thanks
(Jake falling in the trench also fully fucking killed me)
After watching the boys for the first time, I’m definitely subscribing. And merch lads!!!
Sound effects when choccy was walking round in the boots killed me! 😂😂
Just been at Lollapalooza Chicago this weekend. Definitely one you guys need to try out. Absolutely amazing.
All your rave outfits were just PERFECT! 10/10
Went 3 years in a row, 2012 to 2014, some of the best memories of my life. It’s incredibly well run
The 2012 after movie is my favorite to this day, so jealous you got to experience it!!
This is how a proper honest vlog about the Tomorrowland should be. Congrats!
Zoe! ❤
Great video guys.
But that's not really quality dance music....its a load of tacky eurotrash nonsense
For me, one of the best Tomorrowland reviews I've seen. Thanks a lot lads. Shouout to Eastpak, for keeping the tissues safe and well
the different angles on the mainstage is top notch. great content as always boys
I've been searching for a general review of Tomorrowland and you guys have just smashed it. The music is not for everyone but like you found out it's the experience of the whole festival and the effort they put into making it what it is. Thanks for sharing 👍
this channel deserves way more subs.... i fuckin love it
I had no intention of watching this entire video but “Tomorrowland” and “first time” caught my eye as I’ve always wanted to go.
I was sitting watching the live stream for the last two weeks thinking “TPD would love this festival I know it”
Then I open my RUclips and see this. What a blessing.
Awesome video guys, you made me laugh a lot Glad you liked Tomorrowland 🎪🍻🎉
To be fair. As much as I couldn’t do a full festival of EDM those night sets look amazing! 👏🏻
you probably could, if you went with someone who knew what they were doing. There's a lot of bad music at festivals like this. If you don't know where the good acts are, it would be torture.
Lol LOVE IT, now you'll have to do Defqon 1 next year! It's Defqon 1's 20th anniversity so you'll better be there!
Hahaha too good boys!! So great to see this again after I went for the first time as well this year with my younger brother (as a Belgian myself living 15km's from Tomorrowland). Best day! Glad you guys enjoyed yourselves!! Cheers
Glad you guys were able to enjoy something totally new for you. Yes, the post festival withdrawals hit hard after TomorrowLand.
Lads it’s good to see a dance festival I agree purely on the beer that’s a grueller but a spectacular festival none the less , great effort to see you branching out to different genres 🤣🧨🤙🏼🫡😀👍🏽
NGL this is my fave video, you guys have inspired me to not gaf and just go & have fun!
Yes TDP 🎉 loving your videos. Just binged, EVERYTHING even your pod casts top work keep it up
I found TPD from their Burning Man video - I'm a burner. Now I'm hooked! I love TPD. --Frank
That was a blast, im the same im not a EDM fan at all as varls will vouch. Did a great thing still going and showing the real deal of a festival that isnt for you, There was big energy regardless. Love the commentary overlay at the end gives it a good gisign off 👍
Absolutely love this one boys, another festival that you've been to thats tempted me to go to! Well done lads
45:14 Thats Hardwell xD
Choc was absolutely hilarious in this hahaha
even if you dont like edm music, the positivity and the vibes of the music can carry you. music aside it is the greatest festival on the planet in terms of operation, hospitality and customer experience. nothing else in the world puts as much effort in to make sure you the goer has everything he needs to have a good time
YESSSS, I’ve always wanted to go to Tomorrowland, Now I get to experience it through my favorite guys
Amazing videos once again lads. Get these boys to 1m subs like why tf not
1:03:10 As a New Zealander TPD fan, this hurts haha. Aussies getting away with it, again!
This is the video that brought me to TPD TV! Been going to Tomorrowland since 2014 myself. Very fun to see some "TML virgings" doin it all. Glad you liked it, despite the music ;)
I've now watched basically every video of yours back to the beginning of 2022. Great channel! Keep going, please!
Hope to run into to at Tomorrowland this year ;)
that was my 4th time at tomorrowland, think it’s the best one they’ve ever done. having lost interest in edm though I’ve also realised the importance of being hammered at all times
cant wait to return
@@TPD you should try one with more underground music. It's not nearly as monotonous. Not as good of production (cause nowhere is). But still real good stellar vibes.
@@gregtufaro8166 i'd argue it's more monotonous lol
Thanks Boy. Made me laugh this one.
"I don't understand how can't you enjoy MUSE more" oh man that got me laughing so bad, of all things, MUSE?? 😂😂
Dance Music is something really special, the culture, the origins, the meaning of it all - escaping from the ugly reality, connecting with people, enjoying the moment, being yourself beyond any judgment, I really love it.
Agree ❤
Pretty sure they would get cancelled for talking about taking other things 🧐
He is amazing saw him at the O2 just fantastic. Well done boys. Keep up the good work and hopefully one day I’ll get to meet you 👌
Great video as always. However, it's the first major festival I'm genuinely thinking about heading to, and it's firmly cemented in my mind that next year is the year to go. Shout out to you guys, though, for doing something out of your comfort zone music wise.
Good luck trying to get a ticket u don't just buy one that easy u have to be selected
@@kbyrne340 Thank you! I'm going to try for a global journey package which will hopefully give me a better chance

I love myself some EDM, Creamfields is the only one I’ve gone to and im going again this year for my 2nd time and its good to see you boys try something new even know your all rock and roll 🤘🎸
For guys who don’t like EDM, y’all look like you had the best fucking time. love that for y’all.
Took me about 5 festivals to get into EDM, now I'm that guy in line pumping my fist
lol
The repeating songs are some kind of theme/challange every year. And the djs do their own mix of these songs. I think that's how you can vote for best dj of the years or something. But Very fun video guys, you can feel the vibe through the video😄
It looks like the best layout of a festival that I have ever seen. Several bars with seating, many dance floors and no mud and beer sold in glass. Clean showers and toilets.
Amazing content as always. Hope you dont burn yourselves out cause you guys have been doing so much amazing content this year
Choc is an absolute gem ❤
I loved every second of this. You guys are so real for this 😂✨
those raving outfits are unreal, choc stole the show with those clompers
