- Today I make one of my favourite lunches.
The perfect toasted cheese sandwich cooked in the Ninja Air Fryer.
This method gives a crisp to the bread and the cheese is melted perfectly inside.

I tried this in my Ninja XL Pro. I didn't get results anything like yours. I followed all your directions, though I doubtless had different brands of bread and cheese etc. Still, my products looked much like yours. After 6 minutes air fry at 400 F (almost exactly the same as 200 C), turning after 3 minutes, the sandwich wasn't even beginning to look cooked. After 6 more minutes, turning twice more, the cheese was melted, but the outside was barely starting to brown. So I gave up on air frying, and gave the sandwich 3 minutes on the toast function, which did make it a more or less ok grilled cheese.
Looks yum 🎉❤
Looks great
That does look so good, I may have to try doing one with cheese and marmite or cheese and onion
Good idea! 👍 that would taste amazing!
But do it for longer as 6 minutes doesn’t work at all
Yesss
Looks soo good! Love a good Toastie ❤
Tastes amazing Erin give it a try
I'm going to give it a try thanks for the tips on how to do it
Enjoy Melvin and thanks for watching
I’ve just made one yes it looked and the crunch was amazing but his timings were really out I have the exact same ninja it took 6 minutes one side 3 minutes the second side so 9 minutes in all tasted amazing
had to turn my Ninja up to 240 max to get it to turn brown within 3 mins per side
Looks delicious 😊
Thanks Yvonne
Great video!👍👍👍
Thanks for watching
How come when I used the air fryer to toast, the bread slices flied in the air fryer 😢?
Mine ended up looking nothing like this 😂
Too bad times in recipes are only vaguely related to the time it actually takes to cook anything.
Why does mine always separate and fold.
When I did mine they didn't go brown
Did you put mayonnaise on the outer sides of the bread?
Slices of cheese 😂😂😂 use proper cheese 🙄
I hear you but give it a go I was surprised how well they tasted
