How about doubling camshaft speed, directing steam to intake and exhaust, then creating ports in cylinder walls to dump steam at bottom of stroke? Now we get two power strokes per revolution? Just a thought.... M...
Just wondering how you lube the bore and the piston. I see you use grease fittings for the crankshaft, but how are you planning the rest. especially if you are going to use steam later on.
Marcel Herwijnen I made a small hole between the valve spring case and the cylinder that lets enough oil to lube the cylinder and rist pin in the piston

This won't work under hi load conditions. Pressure under the intake valve will lift it off of it's seat and through the timing off. Good try though.
what did you use to create the extra cam lobes?
i just welded some globs with a wire welder and grinded and filed them down by hand
