For me the Gold Wing’s legendary long distance ethos is it’s smoothness & peace of mind reliability. On newest generation DCT equipped, it’s so nice in stop and go and just all around use. A seamless mindless gear selection that is quick and easy. A very slick feature. The GSA is appealing to me for it’s utility aesthetics. It’s a good looking bike. But it doesn’t need so much attention to keeping it look so good with careful care of wiping it down at every fuel stop or morning pre-departure at the hotel like a Gold Wing. Gold Wings look best looking clean & dressed tight. The GSA is just in it’s natural element getting dirty. However once home, the detailing team gets after it. 😂

Most don't realize how comfy some Adventure Bikes are. That's a pretty good runner up to the GoldWing. Nice Ride & Vlog. Is your BMW M100R about the same as Suzuki's Katana?
The best touring bike is the one you are most comfortable riding, even if it's a sports bike. Of course on long bikecations, reliability is a BIG factor, when it comes to peace of mind. I saw that wine glass video. I get horrible mpg because I pull a big trailer.
I choose the Adventure bike. Just so much more utility to be had out on the road......any road.

You are correct! I love touring. I am in the same boat when pulling my trailer. I got maybe around 30 to 35 mpg when pulling the trailer. Ride safe!
