Heres my opinion. The Goldwing DCT is the best out there. The forward/reverse walking mode is the best feature on any bike. But Honda offers more than just that. All day comfort, and a great feel when riding because that flat 6 sits low. Honda just needs to offer the Goldwing in more colors.
Goldwing was my call. Cheaper, quitter, cheaper parts, superbly comfortable, Fwd/Rev walk mode, center stand. But, I do like the Indian too.

@@chiefjoseph8154 They do indeed. I just don't get Indian. Such a heavy bike on slow speeds, why not cater to a wider customers with center stand and walk assist REV. That turned me off and I am a tall guy and I don't really use it much on the Goldwing. Its just nice to have.

I was a GoldWing owner, had several generations in fact. Last one was a 2018 Tour DCT Airbag. Wings are amazing motorcycles, but the Indian Pursuit has better suspension, has better handling characteristics, has top loading and larger saddlebags, has a more customizable TFT touch screen and you can easily remove the trunk if you wish.
My choice is the Pursuit. For those that have never ridden an Indian Pursuit before, I highly recommend doing so at an Indian demo day event.
Rode them both. The wing is the clear winner. 41,000 miles and counting on the wing.
The persuit is Premium fuel only.
The Goldwing is regular unleaded.
I have been riding for over 4t years and had multiple bikes goldwing bmw k1600gtl r1200rt suzuki 1150 yamaha 650 turbo v rod k1200lt and a few smaller bikes now I ride a ultra limited 2016 one of the best bikes I have riden. I have 65k on it so far and never used the 7 year warranty I had with the bike . Ride what puts a smile on your face.
Performance, Price & Look - it is indeed the Honda Goldwing that wins the race - the the best touring bike !

I've been on both, but for me it is was the Indian Pursuit for the room and comfort. If you are 6' tall or more the Honda is beyond cramped. Honda has no floorboards, far less storage, smaller fairing results in less wind & rain protection. Honda is a great setup, but the Indian wins for comfort on those long rides.
The Goldwing is the king of the highway. Bottom line
Not so much anymore. I used to own several Wings, last one was the 2018 Tour DCT Airbag. I now own a 2023 Indian Pursuit. The Pursuit handles better, is just as smooth and has top loading and larger saddlebags, more customizable TFT screen.
My choice; Indian Pursuit.
Persuit is a dang nice bike but also more money
I have a 6 speed wing with the ecm flashed. I have yet to meet any v- twin that can keep up with me.

DCT or Paddle shift. In Sport mode and off the line it’s catch up for the Indian. Just hard to out-shift a DCT. Indian has a place though. Nice we have great choices.

when talking engine and fuel... should have mentioned the Goldwing can run normal gas, where the Pursuit needs higher octane and calls for premium gas

Just a fluff video that glosses over everything..for example it mentions that the Indian has Apple Car Play but fails to mention that the Gold Wing has Android Auto and Apple Car Play..mentions both have nearly the same power and torque, but Honda's flat 6 makes max torque at 1200 rpms and holds it til it falls off at 5500 rpms...low rpm torque is what is importantwith a touring machine...both nice machines, but the Gold Wing is the top touring machine in my book.
I own the 21 Challenger limited. I tried the GW w/ dct. I chose the Challenger. Sometimes I have buyers remorse.

Goldwing engine is a marvel of engineering using 6 cats to turn the wheels...Pursuit is a simple engine that says you only need 2cats to do the job!
I thought each bikes description was vague and neutral. It felt like a commercial for each bike, which didn’t want to offend the other.
Goldwing will not feel any heat between your legs you will not pay too much money for spare parts the service it’s very cheap around $60 for change oil and filter
new goldwings are big scooters. if you are looking for some character then indian is the right one.
Goldwing is a classic king of the road. Unfortunately newer goldwings are really pushing the definition of what a motorcycle is.
GW and if you look at the MSRP (in USA) it is 6K less. That is a lot of cash less for the better motorcycle (as long as you aren't dying for the HD looks of the Indian), but that 6K is a lot to pay for the looks. And let's not forget no reverse gear for the Indian on this big beast.

Disappointing AI video. Love my Pursuit and would love to see an actual comparison to a GW. Pursuit ride position is better for me and doesn’t feel cramped. Layout of the tech is seamless and not a fan of all the GW buttons. Honda has the best quality, but lacks any character. It’s all personal preference. Both are great looking and performing touring bikes.

This has to be the poorest attempt at a comparison of these bikes, failure if you will. Go ahead and mention Apple Auto Car Play for the Indian but not the Goldwing even though the Goldwing sports both Apple Car Play and Android Auto. How's about fuel? Goldwing uses regular 87 yet the Indian has to tank up on premium fuel. Many more slights to both bikes. Anybody can do a review like this by picking and choosing from a manufacturer's specification sheet.
You need to hire a native English speaker to write these scripts if you intend on appealing to an English speaking audience. This is virtually unwatchable.
As compared to ........ Whatever that item is, you need that. Everything in the touring world is compared to the Goldwing, so that's what I have. My spare bike is a K1600GTL. The K bike is faster than the Goldwing....and that's the only arena where the Goldwing is beat. The Goldwing goes on all the long tours or if I have my wife along or if I'm pulling our camper. So, Goldwing!
I have both as well. The K also corners better, but cornering puts a lot of stress on the K's smaller front tire. Its the only bike that I have worn out the front tire (side walls) before the rear.
