- Welcome back! In this video I visit Färnebofjärden national park in Sweden. I planed to do both landscape and wildlife photography. But I ended up shooting mostly wildlife. Why? Well you have to watch the video to find out!

Such a beautiful place, I would love to spend some time there and see it in different seasons. if I remember correctly you've shot a video there before, or maybe I'm thinking of a different place but it looked familiar.
Hi Mike! It's one of my favorite locations. And you are right I have made videos there. In spring and autumn. Have you been out shooting? What's winter like in Canada?

Laura and I have been sick with a really bad cold so I haven't been out shooting at all. I guess I should though, just bought a like-new used 14-24mm. I just need to feel better to go out and use it!
Winter has been pretty tame so far. We had 5 days days of bitterly cold weather recently but it's warmer now and we got a fresh 20cm snowfall yesterday.
I was surprised to see most of your snow was gone!

Same story here! During the night we got 20cm of snow. It's very beautiful. EVERYTHING is covered in snow. But as usual the weather forecast says +2 during the day. Doubt the conditions will last for me to take photos of it. 😪

There's nothing quite like a fresh snowfall, so beautiful! It's 0º here today so it's melting, puddles everywhere. -10 tomorrow so it will all freeze and get icy. Boooo! lol
This winter is a wierd one for sure. I got myself a pair of boots with metal spikes. From a brand called Icebug. Works super good in these wierd conditions. :)

Hej Gunnar! Just nu på morgonen innan jobbet, är det dimma. Rätt så frustrerande när man är fast på jobbet 5 dagar i veckan. Man ska ha mycket tur om man ska pricka in fina förhållanden för fotografering. Men desto gladare blir man ju när det äntligen händer. :)

Hej Thomas! Verkligt trevlig video. Gysinge och Färnebofjärden är verkligen en plats som "har så mycket". Jag hade en liten utställningen i Naturum hösten 2024. Den första P - platsen i videon var är den?? Hälsningar från Sala Hans-Olof
Hej Hans-Olof! Det är fantastiskt fint där. Om det blir en snöklädd helg framöver kommer jag åka tillbaka och försöka fotografera lite mer landskap. Den första P- platsen är vid Gysinge. Naturreservatet Granön, mitt mellan de två broarna som går över älven, där finns en liten avstickare med en fin parkering.
Du går från klarhet till klarhet Thomas. Nyss njöt jag av Brynäs segertåg genom hockeysverige. Och nu får jag avsluta kvällen med en härlig naturbetraktelse.
Inte lika muntert här i Leksand just nu! 😰😩
