Hi Karen! I sometimes wake up to mist and fog. Pretty much never happens on weekends. Hum, I wonder why that is!? Thank you for tuning in this week. Have a great day! :)
Hej Thomas!
Never a dramatic cloud around when you need one! lol But, it ended up working out nicely. I like that shot. I really like your car setup, so cozy. I would have a hard time getting out of there too. Those rocks are incredible, such cool formations, and your final long exposure shots worked out very nicely as well. Good work!
@@ThomasRaskPhoto You're welcome Thomas :) I went looking for White Pelicans to shoot that day. They are beautiful birds, and slow, easy to photograph. Didn't see one pelican but found a bunch of swallows instead. Wow they are FAST!!!!! Having never shot anything like that before I really struggle to keep up with them. And yes, I had my Zf mounted on the 500 pf. No way my Z7 ii could have tracked those birds at all. The Zf did well, I just need a lot more practice with birds that fast. LOTS of practice!! Lol
@@ThomasRaskPhoto Thank Thomas, that is kind of you to say :) I look forward to the pelicans, if only I can find them! They hang out in several different spots along the lake and a few of the rivers close to home but I'm always at the wrong spot at the wrong time! lol
The first video of the misty morning was beautiful! So calming. The still shots are great! You really have a good eye for

Thank you very much Mike! I can see on your FB that you are using your new 500mm lens. Very cool pictures of the swallows. Did you use the ZF? :)

That's the thing with wildlife. Never do they behave as we want. Well almost never. ;)
I am fine but live in Colchester which is in England but born in Scotland
Oh my bad. Not as hot as Texas then. :) I watch a lot of RUclipsrs from England. They allways visit very beautiful locations. :)
@@ThomasRaskPhoto very flat around here, but some lovely coastline, the highlands of Scotland are beautiful well worth a visit.
I would love to visit Scotland someday.
