I like how you did your review. I am planning to buy this book because I enjoy stories that feature Spidey's supporting cast. The depth of his supporting cast is one major factor that differentiates Spider-Man from other superheroes in my opinion.
@@OmnibusRyan I’m going to have to check this out. I’ve been making my way through Roger Stern’s Omni and I know this leads into it but I’ve never read these issues Really loved seeing a dedicated review man. Great stuff as always
"Peter Parker" was my favorite Spidey title growing up and I was so stoked to hear about this omni when it was announced. It perfectly leads into the Stern omni and now I am curious to find out whether or not a Spectacular Omnibus vol 2 will continue from Stern or double-dip. I hope it will be the former. Agree with you on the political aspect of comics. I think it would be quite boring if these books would only feature on the soap opera and slugfest scenes ;-)
I’d never really though to take a look at this series when I was first getting into comics and Spider-Man but am really glad I finally did. Understandable why it’s a favorite!

I can definitely see that. Personally, I’m really excited for the selection of more modern Spider-Man collections we’re getting this year!
