Years ago when I was in Shanghai a guy with a raincoat stopped in front of me. He open his coat and he had dozens of fake Rolex like this one for sale for $20 each :-)
This guy is a real professional with all the expensive Swiss watch tools to fix that unique Rolex with the glass case back and open heart dial. A lesson for all in the delicate skills required of a Rolex trained watchmaker.
I thought rolex watch are either in gold case or highly grade stainless steel and therefore will not rust. Also the case is so tight dirt and water could not penetrate.

You people do know that these videos are 100% fake. The restorer takes photos of the objects to be restored along with video and then goes about aging and rotting them in salt water and mud and then plants them just to find the item a few minutes later on video. Then he goes about restoring by cleaning up the mud and the dirt and the surface rust if any. Sometimes they plant junk and just get them muddy and dirty for effect and do an honest restore but only as far as it was junk to be repaired. There are some legit restorers like the Tool restore guy and the obvious antique restorers.

If nothing else it was a nice restoration. The plastic ring inside the movement identifies the quality craftsmanship of a Rolex.
