I've just finished this challenge for the first time, and I completed Dragonslayer at 6:49am on Fredas, 22nd of Last Seed, which makes my time just shy of 4 days and 21 hours. It was fun for the most part, going backwards and forwards across the plains got a bit tedious though, as did climbing up the Throat of the World so many times! It got a bit more bearable when I started climbing up from the Stormcloak Whiterun camp. This is definitely a great video and thank you for the inspiration to try it myself!
The "good" news is that you didn't lose anything for not leveling up speech enough to be able to persuade Balgruuf, because the option literally does nothing. He just says something like "yes, you're right" and still sends you to organize the peace council. Boy, was I pissed when I found this out.
@@Reflox1 Someone else's comment said this particular persuasion option works depending on where you are in the civil war questline. I usually ignore the civil war questline, so no wonder I wouldn't know about that.

Wtf, I was watching this whole time thinking that the video already had hundreds of thousands of views.. you deserve them, the editing has the quality of a big channel!
One of the best parts of this is that there are definitely ways that this could be improved upon, making it an actual potential... series? Phenomena? Something along those lines.
Fun fact, Irileth and the guards will appear right behind you if you walk right up to the watchtower so you don’t have to wait at the rock formation for them.
This is a great idea for a speedrun category. I've been thinking about this for quite some time now and I'm glad to see someone actually doing it. Great video also btw!
Now I want to see someone do a full-immersion RP run... No fast travel, the Dragonborn acts as realistically as possible (which means stopping to sleep at night time, with maybe allowances made for an all-nighter here or there), meaning taking more traditional pathways and not doing any odd movement exploits (although the ethereal spell use was really neat and I could see a clever Dragonborn using that).
Was definitely an interesting watch, it seems like it'd be a fun challenge to do especially on survival mode with the added need for food & sleep, as well as something like Skyrim Souls RE to keep the menus unpaused whenever you're sorting through the backpack and such.
Nice, there's definitely a way to optimize this, like i was learning actual glitchless speed skyrim for a bit and there's loads of stuff that could have been done faster like going to blacksreach through ralbhthar, but you did this about as optimal as you could have while still keeping it lore friendly (ish), great job
What a great video! The execution of the challenge, self-imposed/reasonable restrictions, commentary, and editing are spectacular! Hope to see more from you!
The funniest thing about this to me is that the Dragonborn goes five days without sleep running around Skyrim so he can fight the ancient dragon god-king as soon as possible. Dude's on skooma or meth or something.
