I used mods to become a DoorDash runner in Skyrim and became the fastest delivery guy in the land.
Enjoy this modded roleplay / challenge run where I become a delivery runner and aim to create a near-optimal character build for a delivery guy focusing on speed and endurance. I'm using the Lost Legacy modlist which adds over 1300 mods to Skyrim. Amongst these, the mods Missives and Sidequests of Skyrim let you take on radiant quest delivery jobs like a DoorDash, UberEats, or GrubHub delivery guy.
I use multiple mods that add new perks and spells to the game to create an OVER-POWERED DoorDash runner. How broken can we make a character designed around running fast?

Lost Legacy includes multiple ENB options you can implement and I was using Cathedralist Fantasy for this video.
I love the idea of some random Khajiit taking his delivery job so seriously he ends up warping the fabric of reality just to make sure he completes the deliveries as quickly as possible xD
All efforts fueled by skooma of course

I always assumed courriers had some kind of teleportation magic for delivering the letters. Never knew they had to go through all of this. From now on gonna tip them whenever i can
Reverse pickpocketing a literal metric ton of gold wont help him do his job, but he can finally settle down after all tge horrors he must have witnessed
Some couriers do have Teleportation magic
Like i once saw a Courier give me a letter and then i look away for a split second and looked back and he was gone

I do envy the person who has the crashes. Because it's a full compilation, they're supposed to work together, and if something doesn't work and you installed it as told, it's not your call on what might be wrong.

Blindly speeding through dangerous terrain while following your GPS? Sounds like Doordash.
That's insane how fast you're moving. The 1st run (whiterun to riverwood) took 38 minutes. After all the character progression and speed increases, you ran from solitude to rorikstead in less time! 37 minutes to the gate of rorikstead!
Yeah it was pretty wild!
Weirdly, for me the mods actually make the game look a bit older, but not in like a bad way. Everything just kinda pops out in a way you don't really see much in a more modern game that focuses strongly on realism.
It looks sorta like a smoother oblivion imo

Oh my god, PLEASE do more videos with the Lost Legacy modpack. The amount of build variety is absolutely insane, probably the most fun I've ever had with a Skyrim modpack. So many potential build/challenge ideas!

This is what I call... *speedrunning*
Part of the fun of these little delivery quests is imagining why the person wants something delivered to the other person.
For instance, Wulfharth sending a bottle of ale to Dorthe. Alvor and Sigrid's daughter. She's like eight. What reason could there possibly be?
I, for one, imagine he's sending it to Dorthe because her parents' wedding anniversary is coming up. Wulfharth may be a friend or just good acquaintance of Alvor and/or Sigrid and wants to surprise them.
On the other hand, we don't know the exact contents. So it could be a small beer, and therefore nothing unusual for her in a medieval setting.
To complete this experience you'd want a mod that makes a courier reputation system, givng bigger and more valuable jobs as the stat goes up, and more people and creatures coming for you while on jobs of a more valuable nature. As well, you'd want something to make the speed of deliveries lead to some kind of bonus reputation and gold as a tip. As extra fun, add multiple courier guilds and some extra courier NPCs to make it feel competitive and add some drama, with quests and membership levels gated by courier reputation. This would make it feel as important and valid as the dark brotherhood or thieves guild. I had the realization as I watched you master multiple schools of magic and alchemy and etc. only to still do pittance jobs with no danger.
There has to be a courier guild on Tamriel.
Delivering mesages is important, doing so safely and on time is surely a trade.
starting off being trusted with benign personal letters and simple potions, and as you get faster, more well-known and trusted, you're given larger/more important deliveries. maybe missions with strict timing where you have to bring a secret message to someone asap, or a powerful artifact that bandits are hellbent on taking from you. maybe you have to deal with your fellow couriers trying to intercept you to take credit for your work. many such cases

I think this build would actually be really fun for the main quest speed through everything while followers kill enemies for you
As a Skyrim player and a Doordasher, this is really interesting.
Ngl I was kinda hoping this would be one of Gjeoffriehys cats all grown up, ready to continue dad’s legacy and get revenge on the cruel people of Whiterun who conspired against their benevolent benefactor.
I can still hope… the tale of Gjeoffriehy will live on some day, and his kind and selfless deeds will be sung about in the halls of Sovengarde!

So basically Death Stranding in Skyrim, awesome!
If you use the spell mod pull mastery it basically allows you to zip around Skyrim like Spider-Man. You could travel around much faster than you did in this video even at level one.
It is a set of hook shot spells that can either pull you towards a target or pull a target towards you. It is brokenly powerful. You can even "teleport" inside some places with it so long as you can see inside.
There are both non-damaging options and damaging options. If you duel cast it then you can travel around super fast.
You should do a "pizza time" spider-man in Skyrim challenge next using the" pull mastery" mod and your current mod setup.
You have to make deliveries like in this video but also fight "crime" aka all enemies you see along the way while getting the delivery to the target before 30 minutes pass in-game time.

I love the idea of every single one of the couriers being omniscient, like imagine you're checking out the board and the guy next you mumbles "I won't deliver this, bandits have taken over that mine" and you're just like ???
This is pretty cool. Reminds me of becoming a speedy boy in Morrowind and Oblivion. Kind of a shame that athletics and acrobatics weren't included in Skyrim, but at least we have mods.

I just wish story companies would just come back and update their older story games because the fact that mods can make Skyrim this good just shows that the company themselves can do it but better it honestly breaks my heart just seeing how good a game could be but the company never fully realizes it

Just a few ideas for you, if you ever run out of your own (which I don't think is going to happen but anyways):
one - something with cooking (we had a brilliant farmer, landlord and courier, we may have a chief as well);
two - being a pirate! Get a ship, a crew, and go to the new lands! That's honestly the thing I wish to do myself. But watching it from you will be just as entertaining 😄

Would love to see a run where you play as the investor and money is the way to really powerup. You would have followers do your dirty bidding but you give them the best gear, via honed metal mod to craft the best gear and enchant them. And remove leveling up and perks. Want better alchemy? Pay money to get items enchanted with it. You can get RE estate mod to buy properties and stuff.
Would be a pretty fun run

I have a idea for the series where you bought white run (but a mod like this doesn’t exist. Im just saying a little goofy idea) you buy white run by paralyzing jarl balgruff by throwing bags of gold at him and he gives you the throne.
Then go to all the other jarls and throw bags of gold at them and take their thrones. Easy.
Repeat for the emperor (Titus Mede II) and high rock,hammer fell,morrowind,eleswyr,black marsh,Atmora,yokuda,summer set isles, basically all of nirn
Then make catapults to throw gold at daedric princes boom. Halfway there
The pile bags of gold in the sky to get to the nine divines to acsend as the tenth divine. Then slaughter them all with gold.
