Watching you enjoy his voice is bringing a smile to my face! That's how all his fans feel.
You should react to "I'll get by" for the country side, and "Change on the Rise" for his real power voice.

For some reason your reaction did not show up until today.
To keep it simple you can just fit Avi in the broad category of Americana. He can switch from folk to country to blues etc from song to song.
Each song is very different. One you would really enjoy, I think, is "Change On the Rise".
Avi, (pronounced ahhh ve) was with a pop group for several years, Pentatonix, based in Los Angeles. Now he does his own thing out of Nashville, Tennessee.
Thank you for the great reaction. Happy to find someone who appreciates Avi and his unique voice too.

OMG Thank you for a wonderful reaction to a masterpiece of a song! As all the others have said all if his music is spectacular. A song that will expose you to his beautiful low bass is Black is the Color of my True Loves Hair with Peter Hollens. Subscribed to watch you discover Avi''s magic.

Thank you for reacting to this amazingly talented singer and songwriter! I highly recommend "Change on the Rise." Me, I love them ALL! His newest is "All is Well," a beautiful duet with Joy Williams, formerly of the Civil Wars and amazing in her own right.

As Gail said, Avi was the original bass with a cappella pop group Pentatonix, until he left in September 2017. He's since released quite a few original songs, and has more due out within the next few months, prior to his scheduled second European tour. Since you liked the country feel of this song, you might check out a couple of songs he recorded just before leaving PTX - "Hey Ya" (his cover of OutKast's iconic tune, done country-style), and "Sweet Adeline" (an original), both done under the album title "Avriel & The Sequoias".

Oh, and then there's this original, released in 2019 - "Born in California". This link is for the official audio-only clip: ruclips.net/video/6rBCNq0YLEE/видео.html

Avi actually trained as a classical vocalist.
He had just been hired by the Los Angeles Opera house when he got a call from Scott Hoying needing a bass his group Pentatonix, a newly forming A Capella group. Avi chose PTX over being an opera singer because he loves A Capella singing. He remained with them for 6 years before having to leave because the touring with the band and such was more than his emotions could handle. His genera is multiple. He sings, American Folk, Western and some leanings towards country.
He is a stunning singer and writes the vast majority of his music at his log cabin in the forests of Tennessee.
He is a bit of a loner staying close to the cabin a lot, but visits his parents in California as much as possible.
He is the brainchild of and tri founder of A Capella Academy. This is a 9 day training academy for youth from all over the world.
They are taught choir, small group and soloist singing without instruments.
He is a prolific song writer and my favorite singer.

the song is about depression and anxiety, which he suffers from, all his music tells a story, and its folk/americana.

He is really more Folk/Americana. Most of his solo work is original and some of it he does all the vocal parts to.

Not meant to be mean.... But if you are the "body builder" It is a disgrace. Your traps, delts and upper pecs are lagging. Increase to 150-200mg test suspension per day, 50 mg D-Bol per day, 150 mg A-50's per day.. Just to bulk. Then we can start to cut and shape.

      This was a while ago.
My delts and traps are actually dominant, while my chest is genetically weaker, although there has been some improvement.
