Great job Jake! Probably the final Masterpiece by Scott and the boys, they should have entitled it "And so I know" part 2 it has the same beautiful Melody.
Should've been put on Shangri-La Dee Da. It is really a shame the damn record label talked them out of making it a double album which is what they wanted. They had the songs for it. Everyone always says that double albums are losers, but if you honestly look at the history of rock, most double albums have been success stories.....and not just the live albums. The White Album. The River. Electric Ladyland. Exile. The lists goes on.
Thank you, Jake. Been waiting patiently for this one and per usual, you nailed it. Will be putting some time into learning this one, keep up the great work!!
+Gabriel Longoria Thanks for being patient.. sometimes it takes a while to get certain songs posted. For this one it was just a matter of sitting down and hearing the chords. Robert can also be seen very briefly playing a few chords on Roadie Chefs (2001).. that's the only footage I could find.
Awesome, I'll have to check it out. Robert does such an amazing job with creating such beautiful progressions and this is one of my faves of his. I love the chords and you did a great job putting it together. Thanks again! Next up, "Daisy"....cheers!
Dear Jake, I know this is an older video, but thank you for this, it is such an amazing song and cover! I was a teenager in the 90's, so of course I was familiar with Core and Purple. But since then, other than "Sour Girl", I didn't realize how much STP had to offer. After discovering your channel, I see what I've been missing. Please keep up the incredible content! Do you ever play bossa nova? Or do you have anything you'd recommend? I'd love to hear more!
+nostalgicsound I think it's too bad but I wasn't too surprised.. Chester's contributions were starting to grow on me and he was solid on stage.. unfortunately I can't say the same for Scott.. at least for the last 8 years or so. The old Scott is simply the best.. but I'm not sure he'll ever be that again. I think it may be best for the band to find a reliable guy so they can keep making new music and touring!

Thanks Sarah and yes I play bossa nova even better now these days. I'd recommend Jobim's "Jobim" album and Tetsuo Sakurai's "Cortas do Brasil"
@@jakesguitarvidz Thank you for the reply and recommendations! I will check those out. Please consider making a bossa nova video, I'd love to hear it!

+Spacelion Thank You!
Nice to see you upload an STP song every now and then! What do you think about Chester being out of STP and Scott being open to a (another) reunion?
