I needed this so bad 😭🙏 since I'm still learning digital art. I still have a question: since I don't have the right tools for digital art, I use my phone and a pen I bought online, I'm not sure if I have pen pressure, but would it be a problem to draw/paint without that?
I also use my phone too before and I just lower the opacity of the brush if I wanna glaze a color on top, having a pen just make things faster for me and I don’t think it would be a problem! :)
Not a bad video tho I feel a lot of these subjects need much more further context + example showing A TIP for shading in general especially if your painting is to start with hard edges . This helps you identify not only your lighting values but your plant changes (and they won’t be a pain to rework during the rendering process ) Which is why I highly suggest looking into and practicing shape language and of shape design because this will further push your edges to the next level plus you can apply this for anime Cell shading this principle of shape language is very important and versatile that can be applied across multiple feilds (clothing and character designs, makes compositions more interesting and much much much more )
