I have a Crozius that gives 2AP on Execute (this is on top of the innate 1AP, and then whatever you get from Litany of Hate, too) I have been running around with my Justicar with a Stun Hammer and Stun Psycanon, and setting up loads of kills for the Chaplain, he's now putting in as much work as my Interceptor. I then have a Cullexus Assassin, sitting back and getting fat off all the Warp Activity, to where she will 1 shot a lot of things. Cullexus is my new favourite, although have been having a lot of fun with Callidus as well. She also goes great in to a Stun team. The Chaplain took her place for a bit though, as that new Crozius I got is busted. I have not been fortunate enough to obtain a Paladin yet though. I did not know that you can only get them from a quest (and the knight might die) or I'd have picked one for my freebie, instead of the Librarian (which TBH I am not using as much because I use Assassins, and they can't teleport. I am not even even the Teleport strat as much now, as I prefer stalling the meter and killing more stuff) but yeah dude, Chaplain is great. I just really use him for Litany of hate, the one that gives WP and then his absurd Crozius executions that can get him like 5 or 6 AP back off his first execution. I kind of wish we could take 2 x Assassins instead f a knight, but if they did that it would be too much. Each assassin has so much power when you work out the right applications for them. Eversor can blender entiore pods with the right support, Cullexus can do serious damage to single targets, often wiping out the strongest things in the pod herself. The Calldius has all the espionage/stealth stuff, but she also bypasses armour on all her attacks, she can immobilise, and gets AP back on executions. Her immobilise skill is attached to her ranged weapon as well, which is AoE (a lot like a flamer) Vindicare is cool as you can get AP back off pistol kills, and the pistol never needs to re-load. I'm still working out the best application for this guy, but I take him in a rotation slot which is usually either callidus, cullexus or vindy. I am still building up the right support system to let an Eversor loose. I want a team that all has some kind of bleed to bring to the table, so an Apothecary, a Purifier with bleed nades, etc. Don't have a Purifier yet though, neither.
In the current version of the game, servo skulls don't use action points, and aren't limited to one use per turn, allowing my interceptor to fire his high level disruptor skull 6 times in a turn (improved skull ammo gear) doing 36 automatic armor-piercing damage. I wonder if it was intended - it is a very anticlimatic way to melt bosses.
Yeah, I'm with you on the 'more content' thing. I enjoyed the game, but it really needs more mission types. It started to feel really grindy on about the 18th "Kill the Seed Bearers" mission :)
Hi mate, in the video you mentioned that some of the skills for the Chaplin are well suited for a "executioner squad". Do you have a video or playlist with such squad? I'm struggling quite a bit executioning enemies (99% they get killed before gettiing pass half their stun bar) and I would like to see how can be done... Thank you very much and cheers for the content!
So there are various abilities in different classes that help with this. The Librarian has an ability that does stun and disrupt, there are weapons that increase stun as well, (mostly hammers), etc. I have a video from my playthrough where I brought out my execution squad for the first time, that video I'll link below. I did make a mistake at the beginning of the fight, I didn't realize the chaplain could only have one litany up at a time, but otherwise it was an OK mission with some good executions. Nice one. This guy and a Paladin were minimum requirement for my A-Team. Waiting for some new content before starting again though.
