Sandy - thanks for your extra work so we could see all your cards - sorry about your camera glitch! LOVE these little critters.... they make me homesick for Colorado when we camped all summer & skied all winter!! It is just absorbing to watch you create - you are SO talented! I love all your cheerful, fun-loving stuff (& also your more serious artwork....)!
I love how you created the backgrounds...can't wait to give the idea a try. On the subject of s'mores...a friend introduced me to another version...forget the graham cracker. She roasts an extra large marshmallow over the fire and when it's beautifully done, she inserts a fun size Hershey's chocolate bar in the middle. Give it a sec and take a bite. Yummy melted marshmallow filled with melted chocolate! It's divine! Have a wonderful day!
All of the cards are wonderful. I'm always in awe when you color regardless of what you use. I've been wanting a s'more, but the ingredients are almost as scarce as TP. :-D TFS Sandy. You akways brighten my day .
I did enjoy that! I do wish they didn’t need to be sped up so I could absorb more of your amazing skill but that’s just selfishness on my part. Lol. I do hope you had a wonderful holiday.
We use celebration cookies which have a thin layer of chocolate and so they make the perfect s'more😍 chocolate on both sides of the marshmallow. Wish it wasn't so expensive to get that stamp set sent to Canada😪 Love your amazing work, it always blows my mind!! Just fabulous😍😍😍
Just beautiful cards! I love all the versions! Thanks for the masking tips. I have been missing masking lately, and I might have to try it again once I get this set. Such a darling set this time!
Thank you ! So inspiring for the kids books author that I am, but writing texts & wishing to illustrate, but as a beginer... Never despise small beginnings though! Blessings
Wow! This was amazing Sandy!! I loved them all, but the color pencil one was my fave!! The way you made those colors ‘come to life’ just excited me!! Thank you for sharing your amazing talent with us!🥰
HI, Sandy - I stumbled on this when I fell down a rabbit hole after seeing your named referenced on one of Dan West's videos. LOVE the campfire scenes. Good Lord, lady, are you ever talented!!! What a pleasure to watch you. I ended up watching this and then another of your videos and then coming back here to look at the linked products and then to make this comment. Shew! There went an hour! But it was well-spent.... I think the most helpful thing I learned from this video (there were many helpful things, but I tried to pick out the most significant one) is how you got that smoke to look so realistic. I was wondering that when I saw the finished card earlier. I thought "Hmmm... now how did she get that effect?" I LOVE the idea of smudging a while gel pen. Sorry about the camera glitches. I am a teacher and I sometimes struggle w/ technology. I always tell myself that I'm learning. If I have a mistake, a misstep, a mishap.... this is how we learn. I look forward to watching more of your videos before school starts again and in the months to come! Blessings on you!!! (p.s. I clicked the thumbs up.)
Incredible Sandy! I love every card but I think my favorite is the colored pencil one. Your trees and mountains always look so real and mine look like a five year old drew them. There is a lot of things I’m good at but drawing is not one of them😩.
These are all great! I've struggled with night scenes, but you make it look easy. You were blending the pencils at one point, but I couldn't tell what you were using - it looked almost like a cotton ball or a piece of paper towel or cloth........???
Master background here!! I appreciate your description as you color. Did you take formal art training? I’m just not good at visualizing how to get the end result. Could use some color theory help. Thank you so much. ❤️
Sandy I just love to watch your process. It’s so amazing to see the scene develop. I am WOWED!!! Do you have an online class for creating backgrounds like this and like your storytelling cards with the Katzelkraft stamps?
Love these, Sandy! Thanks so much for sharing you amazing talent! I have a question about Copic Refills. Do you have any idea where they can be purchased now? I used to use Dick Blick, but they don't seem to have any currently. I know the refills are being changed, but when you need a refill, you need a refill. :-D Thanks
All of these are amazing!! I just purchased your hex chart and saw that yr30 is right next to e50. E50 is what I use for a base tone for skin, so I was wondering if yr30 was a lighter version of e50? This information will be very useful for me. Thank you.
Spectacular!!!!! I just love seeing your scenes come to life. These critters are adorable!
An innocent hedgey playing soulful tunes and telling spooky, thrilling ghost stories! :D
This is so cute and the campfire smoke with a gel pen is brilliant!
Love every version...campfire and s’mores are always a good idea👍🏻
I don’t know how you do it! Watching it all come alive right before our eyes is absolutely fascinating
I love all your campfire critter cards. Sandy watching you create a scene is so magical. It just amazing. ❤️❤️❤️🔑🏰
gayle1055 I agree
I love, love, love the lake effects.

ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! You are truly an artist 🎨! 🤩 🤩 🤩

Thank you ! So inspiring for the kids books author that I am, but writing texts & wishing to illustrate, but as a beginer... Never despise small beginnings though! Blessings
I just got this stamp set and am excited to try my first marker background scene.
Wow! This was amazing Sandy!! I loved them all, but the color pencil one was my fave!! The way you made those colors ‘come to life’ just excited me!! Thank you for sharing your amazing talent with us!🥰
So cool watching you work
Colored pencil on this I Luv!!
Gorgeous! They all look great
Super cute scenes
Love the critters jammin' on their guitars! Your scenes and blending are just awesome! TFS
Awesome as always.. you are a genius of copics n creating scenes.
All 3 cards are darling! I love how you blended the colors to make the night scenes.
Love everything you do.
Well now you've got three nice copic cards - like the one with the lake in the background though.
Wow! You are amazing. Wish I could do that.
You are so creative!
Sandy, this is the most fantastic card I’ve ever seen using colored pencils. Who Knew. Tfs. Blessings!
Say it with me......”Happy little trees....”
Love it- thanks for all the hints
Wow!! Your art has blown me away. Thank you so much for sharing. I plan to study your techniques. Again thank you.
🥰
You amaze me!
Wow!

Lol glad I was hiding in the right rabbit hole! 😂
You are amazing! These are all so fantastic. I love each and every one, including the pencil one. ❤️

That’s where the 30 days to more confident sketching class comes in. I’ve seen crazy amounts of boldness from students after that one. 😍
I really enjoy watching you create. Thanks so much for your video. I'd love to take some of your classes but I don't own Copics.
There’s lots of pencil and watercolor classes too 😍
These are all great! I've struggled with night scenes, but you make it look easy. You were blending the pencils at one point, but I couldn't tell what you were using - it looked almost like a cotton ball or a piece of paper towel or cloth........???
Cotton ball with blending solution.
@@SandyAllnock1 Blending solution instead of Gamsol! I probably never would have thought of that! Thanks for the quick answer. : ))))
No I meant it generally-baby oil or gamsol as “a” blending solution. Sorry was typing fast.
What are you using to blend the colored pencils. Adorable card.
Master background here!! I appreciate your description as you color. Did you take formal art training? I’m just not good at visualizing how to get the end result. Could use some color theory help. Thank you so much. ❤️
Yes, I have a degree. It’s why I teach a little color theory in all of my jumpstart classes 😍
Sandy I just love to watch your process. It’s so amazing to see the scene develop. I am WOWED!!! Do you have an online class for creating backgrounds like this and like your storytelling cards with the Katzelkraft stamps?
There are a couple scenes classes, look through the Copic category 😍
Sandy Allnock Thank you, I will look into that. You are a blessing!
:-D Thanks
They’re slowly shipping again. Covid and all.

Not sure I’d say lighter, but warmer. 😍
I usually have the chocolate on the bottom of my s’more-but it doesn’t really matter. Everyone makes their s’more in their own way. 😉
