Are the Ricta Clouds 78a 56mm good on rough terrain/random pebbles?

78 are best for rough terrain, but in conical form. Classic form is more for tricks, but at 78 it will be hard to pull them off. If 56 will cause wheel bite or not, depends on trucks, insert a riser pad if they do.

Yeah middle finger that Penny board. Penny board, Penny size are soo overrated. 100 dollars for a board that for most men with feet on the bigger end of the spectrum, doesn't fit comfortably.
Jon Joe i have size 13 feet and i had a lot of fun trying a penny. I have vintage 70s boards the same size and i have a blast with them.

I'm kinda scared of griptape... when I was younger, like about 8 years ago, my brother got a Stereo Penny-style nickel board. It was custom, with blue griptape near the tail, and pink griptape near the nose. So, anyways... I had the stupidest idea, and thought "Hey, maybe I could sand my nails with griptape!" I tried... it didn't work out so well. My fingernail went a little past the pink space, and it hurt like hell. That's why I'm more interested in the cruiserboards without griptape. Although, I do ride the cruiser my brother had sometimes.

Noob here, aren't cruiser boards suppose to have big soft wheels and something different about the front truck to allow you to pump without pushing? Or is it just the form of the board that matters?
Yeah bigger, softer wheels are nice for cruisers/longboards. I just personally don't like the bulkiness - wanted something portable/lightish.
pealpealpeal, eventually got myself something they brewed in my local skateshop. A 33" ocean board, same shape as the one here with carver trucks and 70mm longboard wheels.

This reminds me of George Poulos' setup he uploaded 8 months ago, but probably only because of the Rout After Hours deck-yours is still totally unique. I have the same deck as you and I fckn love those trucks! Lemme kno how they hold up. Sick setup.

Wonder what size & how much weight is it? Compared to penny, is it ok to cruise? (the Wheel size looks a bit small)
soph it's 26 inches long compared to 22 on the penny and I love it way more. The wheels are smaller but they're fine - cracks and gravel ok, penny is just too unstable. Weighs about 5 pounds :)
