There's a place called Green Michigan ride along the area south of green down the shoreline there's a park. Lots of black sand. If you go there would you tell me if you found any gold? 50 ft to the beach
Probably next year when they reissue the special use permits again. At least for beach prospecting. Don’t know the area enough or property zones to try any creeks.
Sorry, you meant on the Wisconsin side. I guess the same issues apply. At least for not knowing the area enough. If you know of any decent creeks I would be happy to go with you
if ya look at your in feed flare ya got water leaking out.... my question is if the creek is running why didn't ya build up a pool at the head of your sluice instead of bailing?
The water was just a trickle and with being in loose sand any hole or buildup would collapse in on itself. I constantly had to dig out the hole to pool enough water to bail
Also, There's No such Thing as a Bad Day Diggin, Brother 🦾👍‼️
Where the law is a pain. Get about 10 buckets full of black sand take it home. That stuff's hard to get rid of.

The DNR is against people enjoying themselves in Wisconsin.
The DNR’s positives outweigh the negatives.
